Chapter 7 - You Were Too Stunning

Ren arrived at the Hotel New Otani Main building at exactly nine in the morning. He looked at the imposing five star luxury hotel and wondered if his client was one of those rich madames that stumbled upon their app and booked just for the heck of it. Ren had met many of those at this point.

They were quite the generous bunch but sometimes they can get too close for comfort. Ren steeled himself for that possibility. He proceeded inside the hotel and approached the front desk.

"Excuse me, I'm here for Ms. Yona Worth. Can you please inform her that Ren Inoue is waiting for her."

The concierge nodded politely and proceeded to the phone. Ren stood there and waited without a sound. He roamed his eyes around and admired the elegent interior of the place.

"Mr. Inoue is it? Ms. Worth requested for you to come up her room. If you could just follow me."

Ren was surprised and was a bit uneasy at this sudden development. She actually wanted him to come up to her room? Couldn't she just come down by herself? Despite this, Ren kept his calm and followed the concierge.

The elevator stopped at the 15th floor. The concierge led him to suite no. 1508 and left him there. Ren rang the doorbell and waited for her to open up. He braced himself as the door slowly turned. He pasted a bright, friendly smile in his face as he prepared to greet the person behind the door.

However, Ren's smile went rigid along with his whole body when an absolutely stunning woman revealed herself and greeted him with lazy smile.

Her lustrous, inky black hair reached her slender waist. Her expressive eyes were the rarest color of amber. Light shone through it taking his breath away. Her nose was pert and upright and her lips were luscious and reddish.

Ren's eyes traveled from her face downward to her slim figure. She was barefoot and still wearing silk pajamas. Despite such an attire, it didn't hinder her curves in all the right places to present themselves. Ren gulped at this. He has already convinced himself that his client was just another rich, middle-aged madame. Now he didn't know how he'll react around this beautiful and very much young woman.

"Like what you're seeing? Any second more of your stare and I'll melt into a puddle."

Her languid voice which was slightly husky because of sleep rang out seductively in his ears. What made it even more alluring was that sexy, british accent of hers. Ren blinked dazedly and blushed at her words. He cleared his throat in embarrassment and gave her an awkward smile.

"Sorry about that, Miss Worth. You were just too stunning."

Ren blurted out in english due to rushed defense. Yona chuckled lowly at his reply. She leaned at the doorframe and crossed her arms at her chest.

"Heh. Nothing beats a compliment from a gorgeous guy first thing in the morning. Come on in. I overslept a bit so I'll have to trouble you to wait as I prepare."

He didn't comment on her retort, but the reddening tip of his ear was enough of a give away. Thankfully, she didn't seem to have noticed. Ren nodded and stepped inside. He removed his shoes and wore the house slippers Miss Worth set for him.

The suite was very much like a traditional tatami room. Ren appreciated the relaxing feeling it gave off. However, a blank and somehow a bit flabbergasted expression overtook his face. The room would have been more pleasing if not for the clothes and other baubles strewn haphazardly about.

He sat down at one of the zabuton* with a backrest and tapped his fingers at the chabudai*. The woman left to take a bath without even sparing another more glance at him.

However, Ren couldn't stay put as his eyes kept wandering on the messy room. After a few more minutes, he stood up with a helpless sigh.

Ren started to tidy up, beginning with the clothes. He folded and organized them in the closet. However, he noticed two set of outfits which were seperated. Ren tapped his chin in thought before keeping the the cream-colored top and tan trousers. He laid the silk top and denim skirt at the edge of the bed. After which he took out at beige, single-buttoned, wool coat and put it on the bed as well. He let out small, satisfied smile. The clothes were perfect for spring and he was pretty sure Yona would look divine in it despite being casual.

After setting the clothes, Ren proceeded to fix the other parts of the room. He washed the wine glass that was left near the bedside table and took the empty wine bottle to the recycling. Though he was baffled as to how she could have turned her hotel room upside down, Ren couldn't help but be amused at this trait of his new client. He brushed the imaginary dust from his hands and reclined comfortably back at the zabuton.
