When Lyn realized that his wounds wouldn't heal with just the stuff in the medical kit. Lyn headed to the forest to search for those medical herbs. Only two hours had gone by when she felt an approaching presence. To find that Kazuya followed her into the woods, "It's getting dark. Please return already."
She doesn't listen at first, but after a while, Lyn discovered that he wouldn't leave without her. So soon she stood side by side with him, the medical herbs she picked up were in a small plastic bag. As Lyn recalled the words, or rather the warning Pupillam told her. It was clear that her guard attempted to avoid the details. But Lyn was not stupid; she could make the connection quickly. Pupillam and the General suspect Kazuya.
When she first trained with Kazuya, a connection using their powers they made a link using their powers. Lyn caught a glimpse of his memories. Ah, so that's how it was. Kazuya, that dark gaze - that expression. It's filled with nothing but sorrow and hate. This person who is hiding a deep sorrow and hatred. In the end that is her fault isn't it? Most likely whatever he's doing that makes him suspicious is because of her. Lyn doesn't understand much. But slowly she's picking up the pieces.
Lyn thinks of that time she broke down in front of him; it was a few days after she trained with him. Feeling the sudden weight of the bag gone from her hands, she realized that Kazuya had picked it up. Lyn snatched them away from him, "No, the wound on your arm still hasn't healed yet."
She was referring to the wound from earlier; Lyn was distraught when he got into a fight with the guards. Thankfully, once she appeared, they stopped. Lyn peers over to get a glance at his expression, only to reach over and grab hold of his hand, "See? Even I can touch you now!" Kazuya suddenly squeezes her hand back, causing her to let go of the bags which Kazuya picked up, the sudden pain and cramps appeared in her hand, "Ouch! There's no way you got hurt?!!"
"Weren't you the one who examined my wound, Princess Lyn?"
"That's true," Lyn nodded. Since that time he broke down in front of her. No, since the second day she met him, once in a while she would often see such a serious expression, a dark one that seemed to shadow across his face. Lyn stares at his back.
Kazuya gently brushed his fingers over her cheek, "Something wrong Lyn?"
Since he came here, she has become less lonely. But what about him? What does her presence do in his life? Does she only cause him more pain and more suffering? If it's like that then, then she ought to stay away from him. The tears she struggled to keep in finally fell, Kazuya with a concerned expression put the bags down, "Lyn," he spoke her name softly, "What happened?"
Nothing is wrong; it's not because of her. She's crying because of him because Lyn's only just realized it. Kazuya's situation, he's an outsider, his looks don't fit in with people here. People distrust him and find him suspicious. He has no place here. But he cannot go back to his hometown, because he came here to make changes for his people. Since the first day Kazuya came here, he's focused his attention on her. Aside from that one week where he disappeared for a while.
Kazuya pulled towards him; his hand placed firmly on her head.
This person is, even though he's in such a state, he's still worried about her. Lyn reached over and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly. How long has she known him? Probably only for a short amount of time. But, she's known him far better than all her family members.
Dear God, isn't that wrong? God can't grant human beings wishes she knows that. It's useless praying. Lyn heard that there are only three things God can do in the human world, first to create life. Second to guard the life created. Third to move the air. Whenever a shooting star goes by, people pray and wish so desperately. There are even special events for it; it's useless praying like this. But if there is a God out there, please listen to her wish. If a miracle can happen, then please protect this person. Please give him strength. People learn and grow better if they overcome obstacles themselves, but if this obstacle is too heavy for a person to carry - then please remove it. Remove all his pain and the scars that come along with Kazuya's burden.

Princess Lyn's Chambers (Mist Kingdom Castle)
"Princess Lyn, are you crazy?" Kazuya asked.
"But it's late!" Lyn exclaimed. The two of them got sidetracked on the way back, and before she knew it, it was already pitch black outside. That's why she invited him to stay over.
Kazuya sighed deeply, and he looked at her with a questioning gaze, "Are you sure you're sixteen?"
Lyn pouted, "I am! Hurry and come inside; it's cold!" Though it was still Autumn. Autumn in the Mist Kingdom is colder than most places. So Lyn invited him inside. Well, Lyn looked back and watched as Kazuya reluctantly followed her inside. The cold and the dark is merely an excuse; she only wanted to spend more time with him.
Kazuya shut the door behind her, and she suddenly froze realizing something. Wait a minute, is it so wise to have somebody of the opposite gender in the same room as her? "This place.." Kazuya spoke up, Lyn panicked. What is he going to say? "It's small. But your furniture is extravagant." Kazuya commented.
O—h, right, "Actually the furniture was bland in here before. So when I went to the market, I bought stuff to make it more lively and my cousins bring over some things too."
"Market? You're allowed out?" Kazuya asked.
Lyn nodded, "Yes. Occasionally there's a time in the month where I can walk around the city. Of course, there's a limit. But I make do with the areas I can see."
"Hmm..."
"Um, would you like to go with me?" Lyn blurted out, "That time is approaching soon, Kazuya you haven't gone out much either since you came here right?" Lyn didn't know why, but she felt nervous as she asked him. This was the first time for her, inviting a friend to go somewhere with her, it was more nerve-wracking than she thought. Lyn played with the hem of her skirt, as she felt beads of sweat falling from her fingers.
After a few minutes of silence, Kazuya replied, "Then, let's go together. I want to go with you."
Her eyes sparkled at his words, and Lyn let out a relieved sigh, as she beamed brightly at Kazuya. "Thank goodness; I thought you wouldn't agree."
She's happy. With Kazuya, she's able to experience many things she hasn't before. Since he arrived here, Lyn's experienced enough happiness to last a lifetime. That's why please God. Please grant the wish from earlier. She does not want this person to experience any more pain.
