"Look at this fool," the girl said with a sinister smile, "he thinks he can take us on" the girl suddenly yanked the beautiful purple flower out of Leona's hair and tossed it into the dirt, stepping on it, the flower got buried deep into the ground by the time she stopped and Leona dived down and started digging through the mud for it
"what a pathetic little girl," the young man said
Hajime walked up to the group and the gruff looking man opened fire on him, the bullets hit him and instantly they got flattened and fell to the floor "did you just try to shoot me with an ordinary gun?" He raised an eyebrow and continued to calmly walk over to the group, the boy ran up to him with the knife with was glowing with a faint red color "A rank 6 imperial class weapon, I'm impressed" Hajime said as the boy stabbed towards his left side, Hajime grabbed his wrist. twisted it abruptly till it broke and made the boy stab himself in the leg, then the girl looked at Leona and smirked.
"Look at her, shes nothing but a wench from a poor family, wouldn't I be a much better woman for someone of your standard?" she proudly exclaimed. At those words, Leona stopped frantically searching and looked nervous afraid that she'd be left behind so that Hajime could get a woman of high rank.
"Look at this fool" Hajime calmly replied "She's not my woman, she's my friend and a slut like you is not worthy"
This enraged the woman who stood up and sneered at Hajime "How dare you, I am the daughter of a prominent noble"
"Why do Nobility think that they can do anything that they want?" Hajime exclaimed as he opened his wings "And I am the future king" The young woman instantly realized her mistake and begged for mercy, instead, Hajime promptly killed them all and then stomped his foot, the mud cleared away and the flower emerged, he washed it off with some water from the well and placed, it back into her hair, she was so shaken that she could barely walk, he picked her up and carried her to the house of the village chief, the following month Hajime stayed in the village with Hawra and then on their last day, Leona ran up to Hajime and hugged him tightly "Hajime please, please please take me as your disciple, I want the strength to be able to protect the people that I love" She looked up at him, her eyes watering and begging
"Fine but wait until your mother wakes up and ask her permission first"
