By the time Guan Yu reached the chamber, the first thing he saw was a red banner that said "double happiness" and red lanterns hanging. He noticed some servants and maids were waiting by the door.
He waved his hand to dismiss the maids and servants. He opened the door and walked in. Even though he'd just got done drinking alcohol with guests, the alcohol still didn't affect his senses.
Guan Yu looked at Yi Lei Fang who was now sitting alone on the bed with the red veil covering her face.
He calmly walked towards the table. On the table were two goblets with a red string linked onto each of the goblets. His hand pulled out a small test tube and poured it in one of the cups.
With the silence in the room, Yi Lei Fang could hear the sound of their breathing and the pouring of a liquid. Yi Lei Fang had a bad premonition deep inside her soul. So without wasting any time, she removed her veil, showing her beautiful face and shining eyes.
However, by the time Yi Lei Fang removed the veil, she had not seen Guan Yu holding a test tube, instead he was holding the two goblets with the nuptial wine in his hands.
His steps moved towards Yi Lei Fang. He sat next to her and handed her a goblet.
Yi Lei Fang looked at the wine with suspicion. Then she moved her vision to Guan Yu.
"What did you add in there?"
"I add some spirit wine. It's good for your soul." Guan Yu lied through his teeth without blinking an eye.
Yi Lei Fang narrowed her eyes.
"If you put poison in there, I will kill you the next time I see you." She threatened him.
"Um, you can kill me a thousand times if you like because after this I will follow you wherever you go."
Yi Lei Fang raised her eyebrows, wondering if Guan Yu had gone crazy. Either way, she didn't put his words into her heart thinking he was just bluffing out words from being drunk.
"Whatever, let's get this stuff done with. I am still tired from all….ahem...that exercised from last night."
Yi Lei Fang was about to take a sip of the wine but paused when she heard his reply.
"Um, you need a lot of rest for the next one anyways."
Thankfully, Yi Lei Fang had not drank the wine because if she did, she would have spat it out.
Yi Lei Fang gritted her teeth and said, "sex maniac." Then took a sip. Guan Yu acted like he didn't hear her comment and also took a sip of the wine before both of them traded goblets and gulped the rest of the wine down.
For some odd reason Yi Lei Fang felt her soul getting stronger and lighter. She looked at Guan Yu's back who is currently putting the goblets on the table and was thinking about the substance called "spirit wine" he mentioned.
"The wine taste pretty good. Plus the spirit wine that you add really did benefit my soul. Do you have any more left?" Yi Lei Fang shamelessly asked.
Guan Yu turn around and head back to the bed.
"That is the only one left. Your soul power will multiply more after completing the missions but the actual effect won't start until 24 hours pass. You are just getting an appetizer of the spirit wine, not the full course. A reminder, each plane has a different time zone, so the 24 hours can be five years in the next plane."
"Ah, I remembered grandfather mentioned the time zone in different planes to me when I was little. It was interesting at first until I got bored."
Yi Lei Fang got cut off guard when Guan Yu gently kissed her forehead.
"Um, you were very cute when you were little. Now, it's getting late. Let's go to bed."
He took off his outerwear, only leaving his inner garment. As for Yi Lei Fang she kept staring at his god-like body, not knowing that she was drooling.
Guan Yu raised his eyebrows in amusement. With a smirk on his face, he teased, "Do you like what you see?"
She quickly snapped back. She wipes the saliva off her mouth and cleared her throat. "Ahem, there is nothing to see! All I see is skin and bones. No meat at all..tsk..tsk.."
His eyes moved to her plump breasts underneath the red wedding gown.
"Since I am skin and bones we might as well be fully naked to get body heat. Besides you have extra fat on your chest to warm me up."
Yi Lei Fang swiftly took off the red gown and threw at Guan Yu's face.
"Don't even think about getting close to me! Just go to sleep or be a good husband and guard outside so your wife can sleep peacefully!"
"Well, you can't sleep with the headdress still on." As he said that, he smoothly removed the head piece and hair ornaments. He neatly placed them on a mahogany dressing table.
He then grabbed her waist and pulled her in the bed.
"Besides, who says I am a good husband?"
Yi Lei Fang kept struggling to get away from him. "Guan Yu, you tyrant!"
"Yes, this husband is a tyrant and if you don't stop moving, this tyrant will make you go another several rounds of intense exercise tonight."
With that said, Yi Lei Fang stopped and awkwardly laid in bed with Guan Yu cuddling her from behind.
Yi Lei Fang outwardly cursed at Guan Yu. "I hope your penis breaks and would never be able to stand up again."
Guan Yu wasn't offended and only chuckles. With a hoarse voice, he said, "if that happens, who will satisfy you then?"
"Huh, who said I need a guy to satisfy me? I have fingers and if this was a modern world, I will use a toy."
Yi Lei Fang mockingly stare down between his legs and continued, "a dildo would satisfy me the same way...besides what is the difference between a dildo and yours?"
Guan Yu's eyes turned dark. He gritted his teeth and growl, "Yi Lei Fang don't compare my manhood with a toy. If you aren't convinced let me show you the difference."
Unaware, Guan Yu turned their body. Yi Lei Fang was pinned down by Guan Yu in the next second.
