Early morning, Guan Yu woke up fully naked. His six pack exposed as well as the obvious sexy v line. His long legs stood next to the bed. He grabbed his robe from the floor and with a wave of his hand, the robe looked brand new with no sign of wrinkles. After putting on the garment, he heard hurried footsteps coming towards the chamber.
He immediately dispelled the barrier. He knew the footsteps belong to the four maids and did not give much thought to it. Soon enough, the door burst open, showing the four anxious maids. The first thing they saw was Guan Yu busy wrapping the lapel around and secure the waist with a sash.
Xi Ting, Xi Fei, Xi Yi, and Xi Yao, all stood still with a stupefied look. They looked at Guan Yu and then to the naked Yi Lei Fang on the messy bed. Luckily the blanket was covering her naked body. Her head to the shoulders exposed her snow white skin, tainted with hickeys and Guan Yu's love making marks which cause the innocent young maids to blush.
The reason why they rushed here without announcing their presence was because they unknowingly were sleeping in their resting chambers. The only thing they remembered was when they were getting ready to cook dinner for Yi Lei Fang until everything turned dark.
After waking up from a deep sleep, the four maids were worried that something had happened to their Young Miss, so they ran to check up on her. What surprised them was, something did happened to their Young Miss, but it was not like this!
Still, they didn't move an inch. They didn't know what to do or what to think. Today was their Young Miss and Wangye's wedding so does it matter if they had sex already? Will this be an early consummate before the wedding ceremony; therefore, they shouldn't have to worry, right?
The three maids were waiting for Xi Ting to say something since she was the personal maid of Yi Lei Fang and the leader of them three.
Xi Ting finally gained back her senses and curtsey to Guan Yu, who was now fully dressed.
"This nubi greets Wangye."
Guan Yu did a quick glance at the maid and said with a calm tone, "Fang'er is still asleep. Wake her up after you guys are done cleaning the rooms and go get a hot bath ready for her. Make sure to clean the table well and serve her some light food."
Xi Ting and the three maid behind her bowed down.
"Yes, Wangye."
Guan Yu looked back at Yi Lei Fang. He bent down to give her a peck on the forehead. If he could, he would not mind Yi Lei Fang to sleep all day knowing that she was exhausted from the exercises. But since today is their special ceremony, he can't have his wife not show up on her wedding day.
With a few glimpses of her face and gently stroking her cheeks, he got up and left the chamber to get ready.
The four maids straightened their backs after Guan Yu left. Xi Ting peeked at the sleeping Young Miss on the bed to make sure she was okay. Then she turned her attention to the rooms. She was confused why it needed to be cleaned when they just cleaned it yesterday. Soon enough, her question was answered as she saw how messy the rooms were! Thinking back when Guan Yu says to clean the table as well, her face heats up.
She quickly order the maids to do as was told by Guan Yu while Xi Ting went to get hot water for Yi Lei Fang.
When everything is done and ready, Xi Ting walked up to the still heavily sleeping Yi Lei Fang.
She softly called out to her, "Young Miss, Young Miss, wake up. It is time to get up and get ready for your wedding."
Yet no matter how many times she called her, Yi Lei Fang was dead asleep like a log. With no choice she walk up closer to Yi Lei Fang's ear and said, "Wangye is here and he is hungry."
The next moment, Yi Lei Fang sprang up from the bed and shouted, "Don't come any closer!"
Xi Ting and the three maid giggles at their Young Miss' reaction.
Yi Lei Fang looked at her maids and pointed at all of them in disbelief.
"You!..."
Xi Ting interrupted her and said with a mischievous smile.
"Aiya, Young Miss you shouldn't be scolding us nubi when we are here to prepare you for your wedding. Wangye already left earlier and told us to prepare a hot bath and light food for you."
Yi Lei Fang stopped and looked at the mess Guan Yu left on her body. Then her face turned beet red.
"En. This Miss will go take a bath first."
Xi Ting walked over with a clean inner robe and wrapped it around Yi Lei Fang. Once Yi Lei Fang secured the robe, she got up from the bed. When she got up and took a step, she almost fell down onto the ground. Thank goodness Xi Ting and Xi Yi were beside her, if not for them, she would have fallen flat on her butt. With both of their support to the wooden tub, the two maids helped clean Yi Lei Fang.
Xi Yao and Xi Fei later arrived with the food and placed them on the table.
Yi Lei Fang just got done washing her body and was led to the table. But when she saw the food were it was set, Yi Lei Fang's eyes widen.
Xi Ting who saw her reaction smile and said, "Young Miss, the table is clean."
Yi Lei Fang awkwardly cough and nodded her head.
It was already late afternoon. All the Miao clan and the Chief of Yong clan, his wife, and as well as Mu Ling were all invited for Yi Lei Fang and Wangye's happy celebration.
There were red lanterns and music everywhere. Everyone was having fun playing with fireworks and laughing except Mu Ling. His heart tightened whenever he kept thinking of Yi Lei Fang in a red gown standing next to another guy. He really was stupid for believing the rumors about her. If he had ignored the rumors and was still engaged with Yi Lei Fang, would he be the one standing next to her then? With that thought, he did not realize his hands clenched into fists.
Then a loud horn sounded, waking him up from his thoughts. At the end of the street, he saw a beautiful red sedan coming by. It was escorted by Guan Yu who is riding his war black horse, leading the groups. The villagers all threw red and pink floral flowers as it makes it way around the village. Whispers can be heard between the elderly to the young misses.
"Did you heard, Young Miss Yi looked beautiful today when Elder Young Master Yi carried her to the sedan."
"Yeah, yeah. I heard she was beautiful like a goddess!" One of elderly women said.
"I also heard that a shaman did a blessing for their upcoming wedding and said they were meant to be like the stars and the moon." This time a younger married woman said.
"I also heard that soon after their marriage, their soul will become one and complete. What does that mean?"
"Aiya, it means no matter where your soul goes, the husband will follow as well. In the after life or in death."
"Wow! That is so romantic!"
Mu Ling couldn't stand listening to their nonsense no more and continued looking straight at the sedan that is coming near.
When the red sedan passed by him, in an opened octagon shaped window, a wind blew by, lifting the red veil that hung from the headdress. The wind cause Mu Ling to catch a glimpse of Yi Lei Fang's face. Nonetheless, it was enough time for Mu Ling to memorize her beauty and calm features.
Her face barely had make up on since she was already beautiful. The only thing she had was light pink blush on her cheeks and the rouge fulling cover her lush lips perfectly. She was breathtaking. He agreed with one of the villagers, she does look like a goddess.
As the sedan has already passed by him, Mu Ling could feel his heart beating like a drum. His eyes can't stop but be glued to the opening of the sedan, hoping that Yi Lei Fang would notice him.
Sadly it was only his wishful thinking when he watched the sedan slowly disappear from his sight. Then the villagers gradually become even more lively afterward.
Mu Ling shook his head. He really regretted his decision to break off their engagement and now he is watching the woman who made his heart thrum like crazy is being married to someone else. He then walked towards where the sedan disappeared, to the Yifu.
