After several minutes, Amira calmed herself down and stared back at the screen, looking at the image of her precious baby boy. She was determined to complete all ten missions. Plus, the faster she finished it, the faster she gets to see her baby.
She was too preoccupied with her thoughts before finally speaking up. She took one last glance at her baby before the screen changed back to the original background.
"Xiao Bao, I need more information about the Soul Mission."
Xiao Bao's little blue body flew up to Amira and floated in front of her.
"Yes, Goddess. The Soul Missions are transmigration tasks, meaning your soul is a host that will occupy someone else's body from a different plane. The host will be doing tasks as requested by the original owner of the body. They will either take revenge, love, profit, save lives or some other tasks required. The host must complete all the main missions. There can be no more than three tasks given to the host. Once completing the missions, the soul of the original body shares some of its soul power to the host. After all ten Soul Missions are completed, the host can make any wish but it can only be one wish, no more and no less. If the host wants more wishes, the host will have to complete another ten Soul Missions again. When doing Soul Mission, a beginner starts on level F before moving up a hard level task. There are different levels of missions from the easiest to the hardest: level F, Level D, Level A, level S, level SS, and level SSS. The more powerful your soul gets, the higher your missions will be. Not only that, since Asura and I are contacted to your soul, our powers will also level up as well."
"But I wonder what will happen if I fail a mission?"
"If you fail a mission, three more missions would be added for punishment and you won't get any soul power. You can only fail two times, but if you fail the third time, your soul will obliterate."
"So if I fail my first and second mission then that means six more missions will be added along with the ten missions?" Amira held her head, feeling that it would be a long journey before she sees her baby. "Has there been any gods who actually completed all ten missions without failing?"
Xiao Bao shook his head side-to-side.
"When the first Heavenly Lord created the plane of Ka Universe, he wanted the gods to see the outside world instead of laying around in their comfort zones and to be more knowledgeable. This also benefits the soul as well, which is why he decided to create pet systems so the gods can travel their souls throughout the plane to do missions by using various types of spirit animals as systems. Only the Heavenly Lord can bless the spirit animals with the power of the system once they make a contract with a god." The more he explained, the more Amira furrowed her brows.
Xiao Bao continued, "The First Heavenly Lord also created a spirit guard, another contracted spirit animal to protect the gods when they transmigrate. Initially, everything went well. The gods' souls became stronger and wiser but no immortal had completed all ten mission without failing. However, an unfortunate event happened. Many gods who failed three missions were obliterated. The first Heavenly Lord eventually found out that his little brother, Cast Solomon, infiltrated the law of the Ka Universe and affected the Soul Missions. Since then, no gods are willing to do a Soul Mission. But despite that, the pet systems and spirit guards still persists, so over two hundred and sixty-three million years later, having a pet system and a spirit guard became a tradition where all gods have their own on the first day they were born."
"If all gods have their own pet system and spirit guard then how come I don't ever see grandfather's pet system but only his spirit guard?"
"Only the Heavenly Lord of the Plane does not need to have a pet system."
Xiao Bao tilted his little head and the next moment he realized something. "Oh, I forgot we didn't tell you. I used to be the Heavenly Lord's pet system before he was throned to be the next ruler of the plane."
"What? You look like a little baby with that soft and cute voice!"
Xiao Bao puffed up his chest with a haughty look. Sometimes, this woman really was dumb. "After my former master became the Heavenly Lord, he gave me the option to terminate our contract or stay with him until he finds me another suitable master. In the end, I chose to stay. Furthermore, don't judge a book by its cover! This is not my original look! When I was still your grandfather's pet system, I was a handsome and full-grown dragon! Just wait until your soul gets stronger and you will see."
Amira rolled her eyes and nodded her head. "Well, I cannot wait until that day comes. So back to the Soul Mission. What do I need to do to start the mission?"
Xiao Bao proudly states, "You don't need to do anything. Just leave it to me."
He flew up and touched Amira's forehead. He then enchanted a sentence to start the mission. "For my soul, let the mission begin."
Amira was shocked. Everything went too fast for her to react. She was not ready! She was only asking a question!
But it was too late when Amira felt her soul being pulled. The last thing she heard was Asura angrily roaring when he called Xiao Bao an idiot right before she blacked out.
