In the following days that came, Lu Yifeng would always drop Xia Meilin in Nian Jiezhen's place to make her watch over his wife and son.
Nian Jiezhen got used to it, although she was still not in good terms with Xia Meilin, she started to learn how to tolerate her presence. She got used with Xia Meilin's bickering while Xia Meilin was getting bored as time goes by.

Little Melon paused from reading a book before he turned to them with a grin, "I want to go!"
Xia Meilin pursed her lips with what Nian Jiezhen said. She threw the pillow to her and Nian Jiezhen ended up catching it.
"I want to eat!" Xia Meilin whined, "Please give me some apppplees!"
