In the end, both us are caught red handed.
We were dragged to the National Library which was far away, however fortunately, the three of them has lead to an agreement, which makes me suffer even more.
Why?
Because they decided to do research about about what happened 7 years ago which was in my dreams, if it did happen in 2010, there will be documents or stories about it.
However, one bad thing about Singapore national library is that it is big and like 100 times taller than my house.
I sigh as the thought of us having to go through all of the documents and books to find clues about it might not be worth it after all.
I shouldn't have cared about the dream...
Now I'm regretting it. While I'm thinking that, I am secretly sobbing in the corner of the library surrounded by documents of year 2010.
My life is hell right now!
I'm not good with this, especially in the library.
I guess both Galicia and Li Xuan saw my behaviour and they said,
" How about we just show our identification card and ask them to find it for us about the seven unsolved big cases for 2010 in singapore?"
Lidia and Jia Min turn around and nod their heads, I guess they are sick of finding documents and stories for year 2010.
I also nod my head quickly, hoping that they won't change their mind.
Soon, we walk up to the reception corner and when they show their 'identification card', the receptionist show a disbelief look because if you stand at her situation and think,
'one shows that she is a reporter, the other one a police but they both look so young and are wearing high school uniform?!'
but she just nodded and help us find what we want.
Maybe she wanted to leave her naggy boss as far away from possible.
Haha!
We wonder around finding it since we were bored while both Jia Min and Lidia sitting at the corner of the cafe down stairs, drinking ice mocha waiting impatiently.
Fortunately, this is a library if not they would have started agrue about their voices.
Sometimes I do wonder, why does Jia Min believe in the supernatural stuff?
Is it just because her parents is a novice writer and what ever they say influenced her, so that's why she believe it?
Sigh it's the same with Lidia as well, her parents are scientists...
While my parents are both lawyers..
But why my parents didn't influenced me at all?!
Dont tell me, its just like they say.. that my parents now is my adoptive ones?!
But anyway I still envy them in believing something from their family..
We wait for hours and finally they found some documents and stories about the 7 cases for year 2010.
However it is only 10 minutes away from the closing time, looking at that pile of unbelievably amount of things we need to read.
All we thought was, impossible.
5 people reading finish all this in 10 minutes is impossible!
It seems that the receptionist knows what we are thinking and ask,
"Do you want to borrow it home?"
even though it sounds like a rhetorical question, but we all feel relieved about it and nod our heads.
After we borrowed it all, we categorize it.
So each person decided to bring 20 documents and stories back home to read, after that we will tell each other our findings in the group chat that we created previously.
Now it is already 9pm...
It's been a long day, I sigh as I walk back home.
