Arriving at the entrance of the prison once again, but this time with Leopard, we head inside. We quietly sneak into the dungeon to spot a pouting Magi patting the back of a hunched over Hypocrite.
Not understanding the situation, the moment Leopard sees Hypocrite, he jumps him. "Hey! Look look! Little Fly completely healed me! Isn't that amazing!!"
I facepalm.
Hypocrite was surprised by the sudden appearance of Leopard. He hurriedly tried to wipe his face, but he was too late. Leopard said,"Huh? What's this? Did you spill water on yourself?" Leopard licked the tears off of Hypocrite's face. "Salty." He commented.
Hypocrite pushed him away in disgust and slight embarrassment,"Bad breath."
Bufu- I tried to hold back my laughter, but I was too loud and the others notice my presence. I decide it's better not to hide anymore,"If we're all good here, we still need to head back and take the wall down."
"Yes, you're right." Hypocrite says. I look into his eyes to see the previously strong emotions of self-hatred have mostly disappeared.
"Ah, I have something for that." Magi brings us back to the lab. We walk to a corner of the building. Magi pulls off large drapes that were covering a large glass plate on the ground.
"A teleporter. Well, a rough version of it. It can only hold a max of three people and it uses way too much energy, so I only use it in emergencies." Magi explains.
This...sounds really important...and expensive. "Is it really okay for us to use it?"
"Yeah. The sooner you take the wall down, the better. Currently, our enemy territories have realized most of our troops are trapped behind the wall. Our bases are currently lacking the necessary manpower to fight a full on invasion. If the other power decide to fight, we'll be overwhelmed. So the sooner those wall get down, the better." Everyone else nods in agreement.
"Let's go then." I say. We step on the glass pad. Magi flicks some switches and presses some buttons before-
"VRRRRR-"
I meet eyes with Magi," It was nice knowing you."
"Thank you, Fairy. For everything."
And then he was gone.
