Leopard runs for a couple of hours before we decide to take a break. I have to say, even though he supposed to be injured, Leopard's stamina is amazing, allowing us to cross a fair amount of distance in a small amount of time.
We to take a break to let Leopard recuperate and to have a quick meal. We're currently in a forest terrain, so we decided to hunt for some wild game to cook and eat. Originally, Leopard wanted to catch our meal, but Hypocrite tried to reason with him, saying he needed to rest and it would be better if Leopard looked after me while he was at it . The Leopard acted stubborn and refused to cave. As their back and forth continued, I saw an amiable smile growing on Hypocrite's face the longer they argued.
Although his smile looked sparkling with his wavy, dark green hair tied in a messy, short ponytail and handsome face, for some reason, looking at the smile gave me a cold sweat.
Leopard didn't take notice of his creepy smile until Hypocrite quietly walked up to him, grabbed Leopard by the cheeks, and showed him a dazzling smile with squinted eyes,"You will stay, and you will recuperate. Yes?"
"Yesh." The boy who's cheeks were being squeezed answered through duck lips.
"Good." Hypocrite adjusted his black, browline glasses before turning around and heading into the forest.
...I can ship it.
After he was out of view, Leopard laid down with a puff. He grumbled," Why'd I have to come with this stuck-up loser. It would of been better if he wasn't here."
Umm? Who was the one that tagged along in the first place? Don't get me wrong, having Leopard here is a godsend compared to that wolf-in-sheeps-clothing, but he didn't exactly get permission to be here. He's the one that snuck out to be with us, so I don't know why he's complaining, but it's pretty cute, not going to lie. His pouting face makes Leopard appear even cuter than he already is.
Hmm...I think it'll be a while before Hypocrite comes back. We should play a game to bide our time. I suggest,"Hey Leopard, do you want to play 2 truths, 1 lie while we wait?"
His ears perk up in curiosity,"What's 2 truths, 1 lie?"
Ah, right. I forgot what country we're in. Even if they actually have that game in this world, where would the people of this country have time to play. The only thing I could imagine them playing are strategy-type games like chess, if anything at all.
I quickly explain the concept of the game and he happily agrees to play. I start first. " Once, I went 48 hours without sleep. One time I ate a whole cake by myself. And I once went without water for a year."
"Ha! Easy! It must be the last one! "
"Bee Beep, wrong. It's the first one."
"There's no way you can go longer than a couple days without water, you'll die!"
"Yes, But I drank other things like juice and smoothies."
"Eh? What are those?"
Eh? Ah...they probably don't have those in this country either. "Um...you get juice when you drain all the liquid from certain fruits and you make smoothies by mixing frozen fruit chunks and juice."
"Waaah, that sounds really good!"
"Right?! They're really sweet and tasty. I'd pick smoothies over water any day! I'll make you one when I get the chance!"
"Really! Really Really?!" Leopard looked at me with sparkling eyes after hyping up the idea of smoothies.
How can I say no to that face? "Of course!"
