Chapter 118 - Helpless

A couple days pass in my garden and some of my anger and frustration from...that situation has subsided slightly, I think about what to do next when...

*๐‘ฉ๐‘ถ๐‘ถ๐‘ด*

The ground shakes a little. Without thinking, I dash to the source. I find a huge empty crater in the middle of the jungle. Both armies fight each other to the death.

Ha...really don't know when to stop. I rush back to my garden, take as many supplies as I can and fly back to the battlefield. I'm the short amount of time I was gone, away too many people have been killed, people that never had to die.

The situation from a couple of days ago resurfaces in my mind as my previously diffused anger starts building up again.

I quickly throw sleeping bombs and whatever else I have in my arsenal, I can't use my vine cages because whatever that explosion was destroyed all plant life in the crater. Men on both side start dropping like flies, asleep that is.

*boom* *bam*

Whatever weapons they're using is affecting the area around where it's aimed at, so not only is it killing its target, but also the unconscious soldiers that took my sleep bombs. I watch as my sleep bombs indirectly kill many people.

I can't keep going like this, I need to find another solution. I have no time to think and the situation is just getting worse. Out of the corner of my eye I spot a flash of magic heading towards someone's unguarded back. That person is focused on fighting Blaze-Kun.

Shoot! If that bullet lands it'll injure both of them! My body moves unconsciously as I dash a couple feet in front of the unguarded back, with my insane speed I have about 10 feet or 2 seconds before the bullet reaches me.

Not given the luxury to think, I dive straight towards the bullet, all of my plants in hand. Some of the plants should be able to decrease the impact of the bullet...if it doesn't, then hopefully the couple feet of distance will lessen the damage for Blaze-Kun and the other soldier.

The moment the bullet touches me, my sight is enveloped in a white light and a deafening ringing sound enters my ears.
