Chapter 8 - 8 The Side Effect of the Chocolates

"Don't worry I won't die." He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly forcing her to drink more deeply. When he knew it was safe he opened the door with magic and brought in the snacks he had Abigail prepare. The door closed quickly before she could catch a whiff of other blood sources in the mansion. He also fortified the door with spells so she couldn't leave in case he passed out from blood loss. He put the treats on the nightstand and bitterly looked down at the chocolates. He ate the first one and felt the power released from it. It was helping him stay alert for now. Slowly he ate all twelve of them and Yuki did not stop drinking his blood until the last chocolate was eaten.
