Since this takes place in a record that has Cultivators, I'll go ahead and make a basic list explaining power levels.

There are basically three paths of Cultivation, being: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. It isn't incorrect to think of them as forming a type-triangle, meaning Physical > Mental > Spiritual > Physical. As for the Stages themselves, they are roughly equivalent to each other at the same Stage, with the only advantages being experience, unique skills, and equipment. There are nine Levels per Stage and each Stage is separated by a Bottleneck that needs to be overcome to reach the next one. As for the [Soul Tier] designation, that is something inherited from EP:IC. Essentially, for the time being, you just need to know that Tier 4 would essentially make you a God.

[Body/Mind/Spirit Refining Realm][Beginner Soul Tier 2] This is when you first start developing Qi and using it to enhance your basic capabilities. So, if you do Body Refining, you get to be a stronk boi. If you do Mind Refining, you get to be a thinky boi. If you do Spirit Refining, you get to be a spooky boi.

[Qi Refining Realm][Intermediate Soul Tier 2] At this realm, the amount of Qi you have doesn't increase that much, but you're able to begin refining it into 'True Qi'. The difference between Qi, and True Qi, is that the latter replenishes much faster, is several times more powerful, and increases your lifespan by around ten years per stage.

-Third Stage: 225,000Qi, 31-90 True Qi

-Fourth Stage: 325,000Qi, 91-270 True Qi

[Foundation Establishment Realm][Peak Soul Tier 2] At this realm, the practitioner tries to refine all of their normal Qi into True Qi. Each stage increases the lifespan by an additional twenty years, even though the amount of Qi doesn't increase much. At this stage, people are generally able to manipulate the Qi in the natural world and are able to perform actions such as using swords, spears, fans, etc. to fly for short periods of time.

-Third Stage: 225,001-325,000 True Qi

-Fourth Stage: 325,001-450,000 True Qi

-Fifth Stage: 450,001-600,000 True Qi

[Core Formation Realm][Beginner Soul Tier 3] Once the body has all that sweet and savory True Qi, the practitioner tries to condense it into a crunchy golden core using the Cultivator's dantian as a furnace to refine their True Qi into a solid state. Each stage increases the user's lifespan by a whopping 100 years, but requires them to turn their cultivation into nutrients for their core. As a result, this is the most dangerous stage for Cultivators, as they actually get weaker depending on how much of their cultivation base they way to use in forming the core! However, in exchange for giving up their internal True Qi, the body/mind/spirit of the Cultivator becomes exponentially stronger. Also, instead of stages, this Realm allows the cultivator to get a number of dragon imprints on their core, depending on how much True Qi they convert. It's possible to use only a small amount of True Qi, forming a core without ANY imprints, but this will make it almost impossible to survive your future Tribulations.

-Second Imprint: 150,001-225,000 True Qi Converted

-Third Imprint: 225,001-325,000 True Qi Converted

-Fourth Imprint: 325,001-450,000 True Qi Converted

[Nascent Soul Realm][Intermediate Soul Tier 3] So, you got yourself a saucy ass Golden Core? Delicious~! Now, depending on how big your bazingadongahonkaroos were in the previous Realm, you get to start...all over from scratch!? If you fed all your cultivation into your Golden Core, you'll have to refine your True Qi all over again. Fortunately, if you weren't a bitch the previous Realm, you actually convert Qi much faster than normal and even gain it passively, as your Golden Core does that shit for your bold ass. If you wimped out previously, however, prepare for some retribution later...RIP.

[False Immortal Realm][Peak Soul Tier 3] Once your Golden Core is filled to the brim with True Qi, it begins to overflow into your body, extending your lifespan almost indefinitely. However, to reach this Realm, you must first undergo a Tribulation from the Heavens. If you were a bitch when you formed your core, expect to get your just desserts this time around. The strength of the Tribulation depends on various factors, such as Karma, Fate, and other bullshit, but the biggest factor was if you had the metaphorical gonads to actually put in the effort to reach this stage legitimately. Those with nine imprints on their Golden Core are almost guaranteed to survive their Tribulation. For those that couldn't tough it out, taking shortcuts on the path to oppose Heaven, now it's time for Heaven to show you that there is no such thing! Get yo' weak ass core broken, bitches~!
