Gu Mian went home early the next morning. The Gu family were surprised to see her back so early.
“Mian Mian, have you had breakfast?”Mother Gu asked. She was worried that her daughter had quarreled with Tang Zui.
“Not yet. Where’s My Brother?”
“He seemed to have gone out in the middle of the night yesterday and hasn’t come back yet. He said that he’ll have a surprise for us when he comes back this morning.
