Tang Zui stared at her very seriously and asked, "What about you? Do you want me to go?"
Gu Mian's chopsticks continued to push the rice in her bowl around, as she said with a low voice, "I don't want my mother to be disappointed."
Tang Zui was at a loss for words.
"Let's eat first." Tang Zui placed some vegetables into her bowl.
Gu Mian quickly raised her head and glanced at him. She did not know what he was implying. Did he agree or disagree to go?
She saw that Tang Zui had already started to focus on eating, and so she did not ask anymore. But she had somewhat lost her appetite to eat. Her mother would definitely ask her again. How was she going to answer to her mother?
"Do your parents have any special preferences?" Tang Zui took a piece of fish and put it on the plate before him and started to remove the bones.
