"Now? That's so soon. Can you come back later? I mean… just be home by eight." Su Qianxun thought about what she was about to do and reckoned that she would be done by eight.

After Su Qianxun put down her cell phone, she borrowed some money from Gu Mian for the time being. She ordered a bouquet of fresh flowers online before she dashed into the kitchen and started preparing dinner.
Long Sijue rushed back to his apartment after the call ended. However, he did not go to his unit immediately after he arrived. Instead, he stayed in his car and counted the seconds. The moment the hands of his watch indicated that it was eight, he immediately opened the car door and got out. He then walked quickly into the elevator.
Su Qianxun could hear the elevator doors sliding open. She placed the noodles that she had just cooked on the dining table and flashed Long Sijue a bright smile. "Ah Jue, you're back!"
