Tang Zui glanced at Gu Mian, who was standing in a corner calmly. He then looked at Yun Xiaoxiao and said, "My head was knocked against some rock. It's no big deal. Why are you here?"
"I found out that you're injured. How could I not come to see you?" Yun Xiaoxiao walked over to his bed with huge droplets of tears rolling down her cheeks. She suddenly lunged towards Tang Zui and hugged him. Tang Zui's body went stuff for a moment. Yun Xiaoxiao cried as she said, "Brother Zui, if something happens to you, what am I going to do? If something bad happens to you, I won't be able to continue living either!"
"Silly girl, can't you see that I'm alright now? Be obedient and stop crying."
Tang Zui was comforting Yun Xiaoxiao while observing Gu Mian's reaction. He expected to find a hint of emotion other than apathy on her face, but he was wrong. She was very calm, as though she was just a bystander.
