Tang Zui had already fallen asleep. Gu Mian carefully moved his hand which was placed on her lower abdomen before she rose and went to the bathroom. After she entered the bathroom, she curled up in the bathtub, and her entire frame shook. She had no choice but to forcefully cover her mouth to stop herself from making any sound.
The following day, Tang Zui had an immense headache when he woke up. He reached out to his side but he did not feel Gu Mian next to him. He opened his eyes and sat up abruptly when he saw that the big bed was empty.
Almost immediately, he flipped his blanket away and got down from the bed. Just as he was about to look for clothes to wear, the bedroom door was opened. Gu Mian walked in with a glass of tea. Gu Mian was frightened by Tang Zui's fierce demeanour, and she stared nervously at him.
