It had been five weeks already.
Xueyan had gone for an interview in the first week of June and yet the hotel's management hasn't still called to tell her wether she was accepted or not. 'Is there a level of education needed to work in a hotel?' Xueyan asked herself.
"Mother are we visiting grandpa today?" Qingran asked walking in to the kitchen.
"No, you will be studying..."
"Going to school? finally? Mom am I going to school?" Qingran asked with sheer excitement.
"No baby, maybe soon. Mother hasn't gotten a job yet." She hated to say this to her daughter but she had no other choice and it hurts to know that her daughter is already at the age of kindergarten and still hasn't even started. Her daughter would be eight soon but still hasn't started kindergarten like other kids. She left Beijing to Shanghai in order to look for job, but still hasn't gotten. She was a high school dropout and so didn't have much opportunity. Before coming to Shanghai her father had promised to send Qingran to kindergarten and see to her education but that would be way too much for a man who had a business that wasn't prospering and insisted on sending her monthly allowance.
Taking care of she and her siblings wasn't easy with the little he earned she can't make him take responsibility for her child too. She can't use her own misfortune to torment him. He has and will always remain the best father to her. Everything had been fine till that year, the year that had changed her life around but the one thing she will never regret was giving birth to Qingran. Thinking back to that day it brought nothing but painful memories and even if Qingran was a product of ra*e she would forever be grateful to the almighty. Her chance of getting a good paying job was very low. She was restricted by her own misfortune.
"Ok, mommy." Qingran said, being smart in her own way she understood her mother's situation. Tears fell from Xueyan's eyes as she couldn't hold it in anymore. Her little princess understood her way too much. Looking at the girl who lacked a lot of nutrients her heart ached.
Qingran had nothing to be proud of and had no friends because she has always been indoors.
She needed to give her daughter a better life. "Ok, let's call grandpa."
"Owkay, that's a good idea." Qingran gave her mother a thumb's up.

Meanwhile at The Tourist Garden international hotel, Xing Rongbo was going through the new recruits list. His headache was rising by mere looking at the files, more than a hundreds applicant all looking for a job and he didn't know where to place them. His son was such a good man. Zhaolin was truly the mister generous, in order to give jobs to the citizens of China he had a lot of completed projects. A thirty-storey building just for a hotel in three different cities of China. One in Beijing, another in Shanghai and the 'last' in Macau. He stressed the word last because another might pop out of nowhere. Giving job to the jobless was a thing Zhaolin was known for, as long as your age range is in-between 20-45 you could get job at any of the offices you applied for. He not only had hotels but also had schools around the three cities as well, universities, hospitals, orphanages and nursing home for the old. The Xing was an Aristocrat family with only four generations already and also known as 'The Four Wheels' because that was their main source of income. The Xing Motors also known as 'The Four Wheels' was and is still a renowned company that started from Xing Zhaohao, the first generation master. Almost all the cars in China came from the four wheels, different people used their cars: the politicians of the country, the militaries, the higher ups and the richest of the rich. They have wiped out different car companies in China but some were still existing. Some middle class couldn't afford theirs so they left some motor brands.

Rushing into the CEO's office, Secretary Jian bowed to Rongbo and said "Sir, the young master is here. Do you mind me clearing your table?"
"There's no need for that." Zhaolin answered as he strode into the office. He had heard Secretary Jian's question.
"Welcome sir, how have you been?" Jian asked as one of his hand clasped tightly on the other.
"Good, now leave." Zhaolin said, sitting on the couch.
"Yes sir." Cheng Jian said. As he stepped out of the office he saw Jiang Zhi Yang and held out his hand for a hand shake but was ignored, slightly annoyed at his manner he said. "Yang, you must have lost your manners by following the Young master around. You are thinking too greatly of yourself now..." "Excuse me." Jiang Zhi Yang said and walked straight to his office, slamming the door.

"You didn't inform me you were coming," Rongbo said.
"Do I need to inform you before coming to my own office?"
"Oh, it's your office now but you keep abandoning it for my own company,"
"Father I only came to check on the recruits list and thankfully I had come at the right time or it would have been disposed." Zhaolin said picking up a file.
"No one would dare do that," Rongbo said, knowing fully well what his son was capable of.

Plodding into The Tourist Garden international hotel, her hands were formed into fists not because of anger but due to fear of being sent out by the securities. She had come to check on the hotel since she wasn't contacted.

"Cheng Jian I told my father to accept everyone and call those who will be sent to either Beijing or Macau to let them know where they have been assigned to work and so make sure everyone gets a post." Zhaolin said to his father's secretary.
"Yes sir. got it." Secretary Cheng said and bowed.

Roaming around in circles Xueyan had her head bowed but then she bumped into something, at first she felt like she had hit a wall but then opening her eyes she saw sparkling leather shoes, looking too good for a staff she raised her head slowly and finally the two eyes locked.
