"Ms. Han, the director, is here," Anna turned her wheelchair to face the director. She looked him up and down. Director Chan is a man in his late forties, short in stature and doesn't look like he has the aura of a director.
"Good morning, Ms. Han, how may I be of service to you?" Director Chan can't help but stare at the lady in front of him. His eyes widened as he stared at her, he has seen her from afar but not this close.
He has heard of the young lady Han who has a weak body and her famed beauty, but even the rumors don't give justice to the beautiful Ms. Han.
"In the nurse station, there's a boy named Marco Lim. He has a patient that needs an operation. I want you to take charge of this and put this in my bill. Give them what they need, and when I say this, I mean the best," Anna said to the director.
The director looked shocked as to why the great Ms. Han is concerned about these matters. In his opinion, this is a trivial matter unless...the great Ms. Han has a heart of gold! Anna doesn't know that in the director's heart right now, she turned to a saint.
Later on, the whole hospital will know about Ms. Han's benevolence earning her a multitude of supporters believing that she's an angel from heaven.
Back to the present, the director agreed solemnly.
"Yes, Ms. Han," he said in a severe tone. "I'll prepare everything immediately, and I'll make sure that everything is up to the patient's satisfaction."
The director straightened his body, trying to look tall. He felt like he's receiving the orders of the queen.
"Very good, now move. Also, please tell him this," Anna asked the director to be her messenger. The director bowed respectfully and left. After he got out, he proceeded to make arrangements.

"Really? How can that be? Who's the person that helped us?" Marco asked questions after questions in the nurse station. His brother was brought to the operating room an hour ago. It seemed that a person paid for their expenses.
He needs to know who the person is! Marco doesn't like to owe anyone a favor, but this time he's willing to do anything. Earlier, the doctors and nurses approached him and said that they're ready to operate. Marco's surprised and happy even if he doesn't know anything.
"We don't know as well, sir," the nurses in the station answered. They don't know, but according to the rumors, it's a young lady. It's one of the patients at the VIP ward. They have an idea who it is, but they can't divulge their own opinions. What if they're wrong?
"Who can I talk to?" Marco asked again. One of the nurses whispered.
"Try the director. I heard that he was the one who called the doctors and the nurses. Rest assured, they are the best of the best, so I believe that the person that helped you is probably high-up," the nurse looked around and gave him a card. "It's the director. That's his office!"
"Thank you!" Marco smiled and happily moved away. He checked the card, the name and office of the director are on it. He didn't get to use it as there's a sudden commotion ahead of him.
The director is walking with some people. He has seen him earlier. He approached slowly and greeted him.
"Good morning sir!" He bowed deeply. "I'm Marco Lim, and I want to say thank you for helping my brother and me!"
Marco assumed that it's the director's help.
"Help? What help, young man?" The director answered good-naturedly. "It wasn't my help at all."
"May I know who it is, sir?" Marco asked solemnly. He wants to thank the person for saving his only family in the world.
The director smiled and touched his shoulder.
"Young man, the person doesn't wish for you to know who she is," the director's eyes wrinkled in a smile.
She? So she's a girl? Marco asked himself.
"Why?" He asked again.
"Well, let's say that this is karma from your good deed. This is her exact words: Your kindness, I'm paying it!"
The other people with the director nodded and looked at the young man. They looked at him with a favorable light; indeed, a kind deed is paid in folds.
"What? I don't...know. Please, tell me who this person is," Marco asked again.
"You should respect the decision of your benefactor, son," one of the men kindly said.
"But a kind deed isn't supposed to be paid!" Marco shook his head, and the men are amazed at this boy's heart. "Please, hand this necklace to her, kind sir. This is the most important thing I have on me."
Marco handed a beautiful necklace, with a heart-shaped ruby to the director. "This might not be much, but this is my most important belonging. Someday, I'll repay her properly."
Marco bowed. "Thank you!"
He left without looking back. The men looked at each other and the necklace. The young Ms. Han will surely not care about ordinary jewelry.
Well, they're only asked to hand it over so even if Ms. Han throws it away, it's none of their business.
