The sky was clear with a sprinkle of stars, it was the dawning of another peaceful day in Toro. Bethany woke up early and went for her morning jog afterwards she prepared for the most important day in her life –her first day in high school. She was super excited about it, she looked forward to meeting new people and making new friends. Learning new things was by the way, she wasn't a whizkid anyways.
She was already done with all her preparations when her table clock chimed 6 o'clock. The super emotions she was feeling the day before prompted her to wake up before her alarm. She packed her books in her shoulder bag and over to the kitchen to munch on some cereal before going to school.
"Good morning Dad". Her retired military dad was already in the kitchen, making toasts breads and coffee. Since her mum passed away 10 years ago her dad has been super protective of her. She hates it more than she likes it but there was very little she could do.
" Good morning angel. Come on, come give Daddy a hug". Bethany rolled her eyes as she grumpily hugged her dad before settling down on a stool beside the counter, her dad really needed a girlfriend. But anytime she brought it up, they always end up arguing and keeping malice. However, she's not someone that knows how to quit so she tried again.
"Dad, you look handsome today", she said in high spirits, hoping her flattery would get into his head and try to find a girlfriend.
" Awwww, don't I look cute always?". He pouted adorably, to be honest only his daughter and late wife knows this side of him. He was called General ICE back when he was in the military, if any of his battle buddies could see him now, they will surely be amazed that their General ICE is capable of showing emotions.
"Of course Daddy, you look like a 30 year old movie actor". Bethany smiled mischievously as she munched on a toast and lathered it with a thick layer of butter.
" Oh, isn't that flattery angel, come on eat quickly. You don't want to be late for classes on your first day of highschool, do you?". He already knew where she was headed, so he tactically changed the topic. Giving her no room to talk about his personal relationships.

"I sense a tragedy, the earth king is planning something evil on mankind". Lucia, the only surviving witch and soothe sayer said to Dwayne, the leader of the water sect. He knew Marco was up to something, in fact Marco always has something up his sleeve. He just had an eerie feeling that this time, it was going to be disastrous.
" We need to summon all the sub-sect leaders, and the leader of weather and air sects too, Marco is planning something dangerous ". Lucia just confirmed his fears.
" Derek, get the leaders of all the sects to meet by nightfall, it's important ". He ordered from his throne and made for his inner chambers.
" One more thing, your majesty.....". Dwayne paused but didn't turn.
"The guardian of the orb has been found". She said slowly and added " Her life is in danger as we speak".
Dwayne frowned, this is not a good thing.
"Where is she?". He questioned impatiently
" She's in the city of Toro ". Lucia barely finished her sentence before Dwayne disappeared, splashing water all over Lucia in the process.

" Good bye Dad ". Bethany hugged her dad and gave him air kisses, he wanted to drive her but she insisted on cycling instead, she wanted to record every moment on her smartphone and he was going to be a disturbance.
" Good bye angel, make sure you chat me up if you need anything, daddy would come running to you". He said forcefully and made his daughter laugh heartily.
"Of course, General ICE". She smiled brightly and secured her helmet under her chin before mounting the bicycle.
" Bye dad, and think about having a girlfriend soon ". She screamed she cycled down the lane. He sighed heavily.
" Martha our angel grew up real fast, how I wish you were here". He sniffed and went back into the house with drooped shoulders.

"I receive news from the water sect your Highness, they plan to join forces to defeat you, I already planted a spy in the fire sub- sect. They are to meet by nightfall". Walter, the second in command to Marco announced to his leader with his head bowed. He was one of Marco's most loyal men.
" Oh that would not be necessary, I'll take care of the problem right away. The only person that can destroy the orb of Jyka would be dead by nightfall ". He stood up from his throne and laughs wickedly.

Bethany was happily cycling to school, it was the first day her dad allowed her to go out of the house without company. Though they were not rich, they were comfy and dad made life easier for her. She plugged in her headset and listened to freedom by Pharrell Williams, she hummed to the tunes and cycled up a valley.
She pedalled up the valley with enthusiasm, Tora's high was right over the valley. She was in a hurry to get to school so she took a shortcut. When she got to the top of the valley, she suddenly felt the ground grow higher, in surprise of what just happened, she miscalculated and fell off the bike and the valley. It wasn't high grounds but there were surplus sharp ended rocks that would make impact if she hits the ground with the force of the fall. She braced herself to be bruised or seriously injured, and then...
Whooooosh*, she felt water splash all over her body. The water did not only splash, it surprisingly held her with it's force and placed her gently on the ground. She was dizzy, so she only stood for two seconds before she fell. Again, she fell into something, not water this time but a man with a sturdy chest and strange clothes caught her. She tried to make out his face in all the blurriness but she slowly slipped out of consciousness instead.
