Chapter 1 - Coming to The Hub

Coming to the hub was like coming to an old beaten up house. Most of the buildings were destroyed and needed to be repaired. All there is to see is a bar and a random tower of the sorts. My name is Seya I'm nameless and always have been. I'm in my middle ages as we started this journey.

I am really weak. I have been wandering for at least a couple of months before i left the ship and found myself in the coast of whatever land. The first town was filled with weird insect people that seem to know the human language good enough. I only had a few cats like about 467. The hive traders were eager to trade with me even if I was poor. There was another weird hive that practices mechanics. He had prosthetic legs and arms in his disposal.

I pretty asked around to see if there were and other relevant human villages. Some other Hiver told me that there was a town called the hub between the Humans and Sheks. It seems there were nations in this land. The Holy Nation was a nation full of religion and follow the Phoenix. The Phoenix controls the nation toward acts that are... suspicious. He uses his role to make slavery a blessing in rebirth. They think that any other race other than human are creatures made by Nokran.

There was a Nation that went by the name "United Cities" they weren't as racist as the Holy Nation but they still own slaves. There not that bad at least.

The shek and hive were not human but they were powerful in their own way. Shek were tough beings that could give and take a beating. The Hive were bug creatures that had different types of abilities in many fundamental aspects of thieving or battle.

There was also one mysterious race that many didn't know about which were the skeletons. The skeletons were a race that were fully mechanic robots but they had a soul and could feel and such. They were the most hated out of the group from the Holy Nation.

Well, I left the Hive and started going towards The Hub. While I was walking to the hub meeting a lot of people were a problem so I used stealth around big groups. There were a lot of bandits in these parts such as the dust bandits and some hungry bandits. Bandits were common in this land. Most of them warn you before attacking you giving you a chance to either pay them or give them food and they bug off.

I felt bad for this one guy who ran into a bunch of hungry bandits and had food but was stubborn and wouldn't even give a single bite. The bandits then grouped up around the random fellow and started beating him with iron sticks. Iron sticks were really common among bandits or low level humans such as myself. They kept on beating the man when blood was being flown like everywhere around the ground, the bodies of the men with rags beating him. After he was knocked out cold they went to him and started eating his food.

I waited till they would leave the area till I could go and loot. It may be messed up to just go and steal an unconscious mans belongings, but he was bleeding out and I didn't have any medical supplies nor experience at the same time. So the man had a shirt with a jacket and some cargo pants and wooden sandals. I took and wore the jacket, cargo pants, and the wooden sandals. They were quite shoddy but still a comfortable fit. After that event, I went toward the The Hub. The Hub was a weird experience for me because it was a hideout for Holy Nation Outlaws.

Most of the time while at the hub I was investigating what happened to the place. I saw a random hut that was left open for me to see inside. I was checking everything in there for clues on what happened. Until a dark shadow came from behind me.
