Morning of the same day.....
After having their breakfast, both of them spent the half of the morning receiving gifts from family members where, the next item was costlier than the previous....they didn't have the heart of the people who presented them, just their money.
Meilin preferred things that people put their hearts into, as presents and being a child she didn't like the gifts these people sent to her in hopes of getting favoured by Qin Mo. Her gifts included Chinese paintings, jades, vases, and other such things, which could easily cost nearly equal the cost of the down payment of an apartment in any of the high-end districts. Anyone who sees them will think they were for an old generation man with deep interests in antiques like Qin Mo, rather than for a kid.
Meilin, as always, asked them to be stored in the storeroom as the both of them went on to study their books for the latter half of the day or so was the plan.
