Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Level 17!

```
In just five gulps, Mu Fan finished the entire box of the nutritional meal. The refreshing sensation in his stomach, like parched earth absorbing rain, made his whole body feel lighter.
Why didn't he come sooner? With reddened eyes fixed on the next box, Mu Fan didn't notice that people had begun to pay attention to him.
Four gulps finished the second box, and another four for the third. Mu Fan's thin frame seemed like a bottomless pit. Three boxes of nutritious meals gone, and his stomach showed no change, still flat!!!
Across from him, a bald man who had barely finished half a box with spoonfuls was staring agape as the three boxes disappeared in an instant. Mu Fan paused only slightly and then stood up to grab a large glass of water! He gulped it down in one go, then turned around and walked straight to the serving window.
He even drank a large glass of water! Wouldn't that bloat him to death? The bald man's mouth hung open, realizing it was only a minute. He ate three boxes! Then drank that much water, which would make the meal expand quickly! Enough to send someone to the medical room.
"Ten boxes, please," Mu Fan's eyes were filled with longing as he looked at the worker in the white cap.
The worker was just about to wipe his sweat after delivering two boxes when he saw Mu Fan standing in front of him again.
"Didn't I just give you three boxes? Eat those first, then come back!" He seemed a bit agitated. Lunch for a group had just been handed out a moment ago, and this kid was back, seemingly causing trouble.
"I finished them. Could you please give me ten more? Thank you," Mu Fan replied very politely. Though poor, his foster parents always taught him to be thankful and show gratitude.
The worker's gaze went past Mu Fan and saw three empty food trays behind him, with a bald man holding a spoon and mouth agape.
The commotion on Mu Fan's side had already caught the attention of a group that was just passing by. They all thought they'd laugh at this kid ten minutes later, yet they found him again just as they sat down.
"I'll give you three more, really eating too much can cause trouble," the worker, slightly bewildered, mechanically handed him three more boxes with a kind reminder.
"Still need seven more." Mu Fan's eyes continued to look longingly at the worker, unfazed.
"Oh, oh," the worker was a bit spooked by Mu Fan's gaze as he stiffly handed over the remaining meals.
Then, holding ten boxes of nutritional meals, Mu Fan turned to leave, only noticing now that everyone in the hall was looking at him as if frozen. Seeing their gazes, Mu Fan tightened his arm, clearly meaning that no one could take this from him, it was his.
People collectively swallowed, and even Jeff was stunned, looking from his two empty boxes to Mu Fan's half-meter-high pile of food boxes, suddenly feeling a full stomach out of nowhere.
"My God!"
"Is this still human?!"
"Is this a Star Beast disguised in human skin? His appetite is insane compared to Jeff's, and he's so skinny!"
"He definitely can't finish it," someone confidently muttered to themselves.
"What if he really finishes?" a kind person beside reminded.
"Ah, impossible!" a few whispered in unison.
Mu Fan returned to his seat, arranging the ten boxes of food into two rows. As he bowed his head to eat, he noticed the bald man diagonally across staring at him with his mouth open, prompting him to pull the nearby boxes closer.
...
Five minutes later, there was an uproar in the canteen.
"Oh my days!"
"He actually finished it!"
Mu Fan leaned against the chair, satisfied, patting his stomach, feeling warm all over, instantly considering today as the most memorable day of his life. Yes, even happier than when he found Black Egg, who had to earn to buy him a Light Computer. He finally had his first truly fulfilling meal.
"Burp," a gentle belch made Mu Fan squint his eyes, feeling great with newfound energy in his limbs! A strength he had never experienced before, gripping his fists, feeling as if he had infinite energy!
The stack of food boxes on the table shook everyone, including Jeff.
"Good kid! Impressive. I, Jeff, have always believed that a big appetite equals greatness! I don't know about your other strengths, but in terms of appetite, I'm convinced!" Jeff glanced at the five empty boxes in front of him and felt a real sense of defeat when he saw those thirteen empty boxes, admitting his utter admiration.
"Hey," Mu Fan stood up and stretched lazily, saying, "Finally full! So this is what it feels like to be full, so happy!"
Clenching a fist and stretching his arm, a crackling sound came from within, and everyone looked at him like he was a Fierce Beast as they noticed his stomach still showed no sign of protrusion.
Unconsciously, Mu Fan walked out, though compared to going in, his steps were slower, his face showing obvious satisfaction.
...
Ten minutes earlier, the maintenance personnel of the No. 5 training ground was doing their daily cleaning and equipment checks when they approached the target machine.
"Huh, why is this target machine's hydraulic switch off?" Looking at a fist imprint that couldn't rebound on the target machine, the staff member shook his head. "Who was dumb enough to hit so hard without the machine on? This was a direct punch to a four-ton steel ingot. They're probably sent to the treatment room. Oh boy, this target cushion needs replacement." While muttering, he pressed the switch beside the target machine, "hiss," the hydraulic shaft started, and then he replaced the target cushion with a fist imprint with a new one, continuing his daily work.
It was like a drop of dew on pondweed, creating a ripple that quickly vanished, the water surface returning to tranquility.
After Mu Fan had eaten and drunk to his heart's content, he exited the canteen, already seeing people trickling into the Martial Arts Hall for training. It was still break time, and he opened the electronic screen on the corridor side, displaying the facilities of the Martial Arts Hall.
First floor: Training grounds 1-9. Equipment: Fighting Robot, 4-ton hydraulic target machine, 1A-level standard strength tester (maximum corresponding stamina standard level 20, instant explosive punching power 5350KG), iron sand punch bag, muscle trainer, Gravity Room (1—4 times gravity adjustable, payment standard 100 Star Coins/hour)...
Mu Fan's eyes lit up. The dazzling images and descriptions made his heart race, and the final Gravity Room was even more alluring. But thinking about how one hour could offset his day's income, maybe it was better not to.
After going through it, Mu Fan had a general understanding of the Martial Arts Hall. The first floor was mainly for staff and regular customers' training; the second floor was for junior VIP members, with each room equipped with an identity recognition system, serving one person; the third floor was for senior VIP members, with each room twice the size of those on the second floor and equipped with sparring partners. Customers could choose sparring partners for training, and the equipment on the third floor was more advanced than that on the first and second floors. For instance, the Gravity Room supported 1-8 times adjustment, but the cost was astronomical. Currently, only the affluent or noble of District 22 could afford to visit the third floor.
Shaking his head, not thinking too much, Mu Fan walked back to the training ground. The staff had also finished their daily tasks and went to eat, leaving the area empty.
Mu Fan wandered through the areas with growing interest, occasionally trying things out. Now that he felt full, he had boundless energy and wanted to find a place to vent it. Returning to the target machine, Mu Fan smacked his lips, clenched his right fist, and with his shoulder driving his elbow, he suddenly exerted force. A resonant thud echoed, and he felt the target machine sway backward slightly, dissipating his strength.
Was it broken? Mu Fan didn't feel the strong feedback as before. Thinking the machine was faulty and feeling unsatisfied, he glanced around quickly. Seeing no one, he hurriedly walked away. No way he could afford to compensate for such a large piece of equipment with his meager salary.
Ten meters away was a large strength tester, lying silently like a giant planetary barbarian elephant.
As he passed the massive machine, the boy glanced at it, quickly confirming it was the strength tester, four times the size of the target machine earlier.
This shouldn't break, right? With that thought, Mu Fan stopped and prepared his strength, striking out like a pneumatic hammer.
After a heavy thud, the electronic display showed a set of data: 3597 KG!
Level 17!!!
