Chapter 1: "Sami Wake up!!"
"Hey, Jack."
"Yes, Jonas."
"This never seems to get old," smiled Jonas.
"Yeah, this sunset on the horizon brings me back to the old good days…" said Jack smiling. "Remember the first time we came to Mid-Horizon? We climbed all the way to the top of the castle and jumped off!"
"Yeah, we were quite the troublemakers alright, and by the way...make sure Oliver or Olivia comes to Mid-Horizon," said Jonas smirking.
"What? Who is that?" said Jack with a bewildered face.
"Your future son or daughter," said Jonas grinning.
"Oh, so we're making names for each other's son or daughter. Then you too make sure, hmm… Sami or Samantha comes." said Jack as they both laughed.
"Make sure we do actually name them that," said Jack as Jonas stood up and went toward the edge of the top of the castle.." For old times sake?"Jonas said.
"Let's do it!" exclaimed Jack. As both the old friends counted..."3, 2...
"SAMI WAKE-UP!"
So this is where it all starts. A casual morning in Brooklyn. (not that it's normal to get woken up because your best friend just yelled your
name out loud just for you to wake up). Sami groaned as he sat up on his bed.
Oh yeah, you might be wondering! My name is Sami Jonas Parker, and that was my friend Oliver Jack Joseph who just woke me up, and yeah we live in the same house, but let's not get into that now.
So this is a story of how our lives flipped from being just normal teenagers to being something special, known as Heroes…)
"Geez, Oliver are you really trying to give me a heart attack!" Sami exclaimed.
"Yeah," said Oliver sarcastically still on the other side of Sami's door. "We have an hour till the train departs!"
"Give me five minutes," said Sami as he slowly got off his bed and grabbed a random outfit, and to his luck, he grabbed his black pants and red checkered shirt out of the clean and surprisingly neat closet.
"Lucky day, I actually matched my outfit randomly," Sami mumbled as he opened the door only to see Oliver.
"Morning," greeted Sami stepping out of the room stretching.
"Morni- wait let me use the bathroom first-" said Oliver as Sami shut the door behind him, "Guess he regrets waking me up," thought Sami.
Sami looked into the mirror and stared at his messy brown hair and looked directly to his green eyes.
"Yup, definitely need to take a shower today," he said to himself as he frantically rubbed his eyes.
Sami stepped into the bathtub, he cranked the hot water up without even caring which for some reason did not hurt a single bit although it was steaming inside the bathroom which made the window foggy within seconds.
"Ahhh… great way to start the day," said Sami patting himself as water poured over his body.
Once Sami was done brushing and taking a shower he put on his clothes and styled his hair, and of course, he made sure his breath doesn't smell like sh*t...you get the point.
Sami posed in the mirror trying to see if each angle of him was perfect finally he was sure he looked fine and got out the bathroom to see Oliver finished with breakfast.
"Man," said Oliver. "That took forever!"
"You have bed-hair," said Sami patting his head.
"Oh yes, I'm fascinated! How could I possibly have a bedhead?" said Oliver sarcastically.
"Maybe because someone took the only bathroom that isn't being renovated?"
"Yeah," Sami touched his chin whilst looking up. "I wonder who did that."
Sami exchanged a quick grin with Oliver as the bathroom door closed in front of him. Sami grinned mischievously as he heard the shower turn on. He knew what was going to happen which will make Oliver freak out.
Sami counted down, "3, 2,...1,"
"SAMI!!!!!" yelled Oliver stepping into the shower as the freezing cold water touched him.
"Never gets old," Sami said to himself as he began to smirk.
