Her listless eyes stared at the 4 crude brown caskets. She was scared and wanted to cry but she could not, for then she would betray her brothers. "We will be back, you will see us soon." they had not lied.
She had trusted them when they found her and brought her home the next day. She had trusted them when they suddenly uprooted their lives and sold off their grand home moving to a small house. She had trusted them when they left on long trips and came back with new scars and lost looks in their eyes. She trusted them when they left for one last time.
Someone tapped her right shoulder. She turned around to see the last person she could trust beside her, the frail old butler handed her one diary. He went back and sat down, eyes devoid of all color. She rushed to him as he slumped down. He had followed them through all twists and turns of life.
