Chapter 11 - Boundary Breached

"Oh? That might have something to do with your condition. I will send you there to see if there is any cure to your situation." Heng Tan smiled brightly as he extended his hand to lift Tang Peng onto the sword.

Tang Peng walked over and allowed himself to be lifted by Heng Tan. There was nothing abnormal on the outside appearance of Heng Tan, but Tang Peng's gut feeling was growing wilder the closer he got to Heng Tan.

"Here. You can sit in front." Heng Tan moved back a little to let Tang Peng be the one in front. As Tang Peng rode on the sword, he felt a bit nervous. He felt that he was too impulsive. Maybe he should have walked by himself to his destination.

"Well? Start leading." Heng Tan gently urged Tang Peng to tell him the direction. Even though his voice made Tang Peng feel extremely uncomfortable, he still pointed to the right.

The sword was lifted high up in the air all of a sudden, as it flew towards the right. Tang Peng was relieved that Heng Tan did not suddenly just stop protecting him and kill him straight away. However, he could feel Heng Tan's gaze on his back.

As the sword flew closer and closer to his destination, Tang Peng's palms grew even sweatier. He truly had been too impulsive. Heng Tan could probably detect him if he was hidden, and kill him straight away. Perhaps he could hold on with the talismans, but when they ran out, he was truly dead.

"Stop!" Heng Tan's face turned sour all of the sudden as he stopped the sword from flying further. He could see the boundaries set by the Dragonic Sect! He had already reached the Lang Tian mountains! To think that the cultivator's inheritance was here!

If he intruded into the Dragonic Sect territory, those bunch of people would know. He did not want to mess with those terrifying people. Their requirements were even more stringer than theirs. 7.0 potential just to have the chance become a basic disciple. They also possessed superior cultivation materials and manuals.

He had once experienced the power of their sect before in a friendly competition. Just one of their average Rotating Core Level 1 could defeat him, not to mention their prodigies, with all sorts of unique Body Types.

He really wanted to have a legendary inheritance to beat up that Dragonic Sect prodigy Song Lian, and wipe that prideful smile he had off his face. However, he was too weak, far too weak to be able to hold his ground against the Dragonic Sect yet.

The malice he had against Tang Peng suddenly dropped to rock bottom. He only sighed, as he let his sword plummet to the ground.

"I'm sorry kid. That's the Dragonic Sect territory. We can't go any further than that." Heng Tan used a serious tone to deliver the message to Tang Peng.

Hearing that, Tang Peng felt extremely relieved. At least Heng Tan would not have any motive to kill him now. But, how will he achieve his aim of getting to his destination?

"Anyway, I will be going. The entrance to the Lang Tian mountains is to the left if you want to go to the big city." After Heng Tan said these words, he disappeared along with his sword. It seemed like without carrying Tang Peng as a burden, his speed had increased by at least 5 times.

Tang Peng looked in front of him. Ahead was a boundary even a Rotating Core cultivator was afraid to cross. Fear gripped his heart tightly, as he slowly walked towards the boundary.

However, as he thought further about the boundary, he felt that there was really nothing to be afraid of. If he lived an unfulfilled and mundane life, when such a bright opportunity was presented to him, he would regret so hard. Not only that, he would disappoint his parents who had died.

There was nothing for him to lose. His impulsive desires took over him once more. He assumed a ramming stance, before rushing into the boundary.

"Swish!" Tang Peng could feel and hear the boundary ripple when he went against it. However, nothing dangerous happened, and he simply passed through. This was odd. There should have at least some minimal resistance. Why was there none at all?

Forget it. At least he got past the boundary. Now, he just needed to achieve his goal of reaching his destination. As Tang Peng looked at the arrow on his forearm, he began to laugh. Laugh at his misfortune and fortune. Laugh at how absurd his life is.

After laughing until he ran out of breath, a rarely seen smile appeared on his face, since the incident. He then walked on, towards that unknown destination.

"Vice Leader! An unknown human like being has just crossed our outer boundary effortlessly!" A shout came from outside Long Yuan's cave.

When Long Yuan heard about this, she rubbed her forehead. First, that unreliable guy Tai Qi went to discuss with Liu En at the outer boundary about joining forces to take over the Thousand Arts Sect, but then, he hasn't returned yet. She already sent out five of the elders to look for him, and things were not looking good.

Now, there was a person who could cross their outer boundary. It was designed to suppress any person with potential, up to the Soul Nurture Realm.

The only people who could pass through without any problems were those who had surpassed their humanity, the Astral Projection Realm! There was a huge qualitative change between the Soul Nurture Realm and the Astral Projection Realm, which made Long Yuan worried.

Other than that, only people who did not possess potential in the first place could enter. This was impossible. Even cultivators who had their meridians crippled had a little bit of potential. All humans naturally had potential within them.

This was extremely bad. If the Astral Projection cultivator decided to attack their Dragonic Sect while Tai Qi was still out, they would not be able to put up any defence. They could only wait to be slaughtered.

They could only wait and see if the Astral Projection cultivator would penetrate their inner boundary. It was best not to send any cultivators to meet with that cultivator, since they did not want to provoke such a powerful person.

"Tai Qi, why are you missing when we need you?" Long Yuan lamented, as she laid on the floor, thinking about the various problems of the Dragonic Sect.
