Chapter 3 - Seven Beginnings

March 3, 2013_

*Seokjin POV*

"Holy sh*t, I'm late on the first day, father's gonna kill me!" I self-talk in a panicked tone.

I promised him that I would study my ass off and never miss a single class after he enrolled me to an average yet classy collage, Hyunguk Public Collage. I had to particularly crouch down and beg him until he was finally convinced . Reason being my father is a freaking rich money man, CEO of the Kim corporations, one of the finest in South Korea with leading hands in technology and enterprise. And as cliche` as it sounds he wants to hand down the responsibility of the business to me, Kim Seokjin. Due to the exact reason he has put me through hell in my junior years, always top academies and several numbers of extension classes and extra curricula. Sometimes I feel like I am more of one of his creation robots with a specific set of instructions rather than a human. Considerably, this time too he wanted me to attend one of the top ranking collages in Korea, though I managed to wriggle my way out of it.

Putting all the disturbing thoughts aside I run like a frantic near the enormous iron gate but it's too late.

"Damn" I say through gritted teeth.

Immediately I run towards the creme brick-wall and try to climb my way up, judging by my athletic skills it was impossible.

"Hey, you gotta have a lot more strength if you're thinking of climbing that, ya fool!" a harsh voice yelled.

I lost my balance and ended up landing on my tailbone 'just great' I thought. Turning my head I make contact with a short figure with cold features and pale skin. Yet the aura around him was cool and calm, very comforting.

"Who are you?, are you in senior grade too? my voice was filled with 99% curiosity and a hint of annoyance.

The pale skinned boy takes a thoughtful look at me first and then holds out his hand. Taken aback for a bit I greatly accept his help and he pulls me to my feet with a gentle force.

"So?" I ask again impatiently, feeling he dodged my question.

He just rolls his eyes and gives a 'tsk' before replying.

"Yeah, fifth year"

"Bet you're in your sixth, anyways do want me to help you get over that wall?, I can give ya a power-up" he offers with a slight smirk.

I think over it for a few seconds weighing my options but I didn't have any neither did I know how to sneak inside schools. Giving up I quickly accept his offer thinking denying it at this stage would be a huge mistake.

"Ok" I say.

Using steady strides he paces over to the yellow-brick wall and withdraws his hands to create some sort of a unique hand ladder. I hesitate for a single moment thinking weather I can trust a pale dude that I just met, you know the cliche` phrases "never trust strangers" and "never fall in bad company", classic. My father would never stop repeating those phrases until they were engraved in my mind much like a stereo on loop replay.

"If you don't want help than just say so, I 'm not interested in fools who can't speak themselves to ma face" the pale faced boy says in a rather annoyed tone.

" Sorry", I reply in reflex

"Just blanking out as usual, heh!"

He just repetdly rolls his eyes out as if he'd rather be talking to a trashcan and motions with his hands to indicate his self hand-made ladder. One then two feet feet rise steadily at the top of his palms, I hold onto the non-cemented gaps through the wall and give him a signal to heave me up.

"After my signal"

"one"

"two"

"th..."

Before I could finish my countdown I find myself being thrown off to the other side of the school wall.

"Oww!" I exclaim as pain shoots down my brain then spinal.

"You better hope I didn't lose any brain cells!" I yell loud enough for him to heat from the other side.

There was sharp pain in my head as I fell headfirst, well almost, into the surprisingly soft sand. But before I could make anymore remarks I saw two hunched figures coming closer...
