The figure held a long, golden spear to Phyl's neck.
"What the hell do you want!?" Phyl scoffed.
"What I usually do, Phyl. I clean up your messes. Now apologise to Mi and leave." The angelic figure said with a calm smile.
"NOT THIS TIME GABRIEL!" Phyl yelled, jumping back and getting his fist ready.
"Too slow!" Gabriel said pointing at Gyll's stomach which was pierced with his spear.
"DON'T KILL HIM!" Kaber called out to Gabriel.
"He won't," Mi replied.
"Ah, Mi there you-" Gabriel began but stopped as he saw the state Mi was in, Mi was laying on the floor covered in blood.
"You little shit!" Gabriel called out turning to face Phyl.
"WAIT, SHE'S FAKING IT, I JUST PUNCHED HER LIGHTLY!" Phyl pleaded.
"COME ON MI, TELL HIM!" Phyl pleaded, but as he turned to me he saw her wiping away the blood with a sadistic grin on her face.
Gabriel pulled his arm back and thrust it down Gyll's throat.
Phyl managed to mumble something resembling a sentence, "Are you trying to suffocate him!?!"
Gabriel pulled out what looked like a red ball of light from Gyll's throat who collapsed to the floor.
"Lizzard, take care of your friend," Gabriel said, carrying the red light which in reality was Phyl's soul in his hand.
"Now I'm going to send you back to hell, and it's going to take you the next ten thousand years to be done with all the paperwork you'll have waiting for you, I'LL MAKE SURE OF IT!" Gabriel threatened.
Gabriel walked up to Mi, who was no standing up patting her dress to get the dust off.
The entire forest seemed silent for what seemed like minutes...
"MI!" Gabriel called out.
Mi sighed.
"My sweet, innocent, adorable Mi!" Gabriel cooed, with an expression of complete bliss,
"It's been so long, I've missed you so much," Gabriel said wiping a single tear off his eye.
"Let's leave these fools and-" Gabriel began to speak but was interrupted by a sharp pain, the origins to which he noticed when he looked down, Mi kicked him in the balls so hard enough to make him fall to his knees.
"Thanks for the help, creep," Mi said walking over to Gyll and Kaber,
"Good to see you too," Gabriel said with a forced smile through tears.
sensing the opportunity Phyl's soul slipped out of Gabriel's hand and shot for Kaber this time.
Before Gabriel could react, Mi smacked the soul with her mace, as if it was a baseball, making it fly off course and land in a bush, an explosion of bright light brought everybody's attention to said bush.
After Mi walked to the bush, and after Gabriel waddled to the bush, both peeked inside only to find that Phyl has possessed what looked like a mantis.
The forest went silent again...
"Wha- what are you looking at?!" Phyl asked, now in a much higher pitch.
Mi picked up the mantis and placed it in a bottle.
"HAH, at least I'm not stuck with that ang-" Phyl began before being interrupted by Mi shaking the bottle furiously, again with a sadistic smile.
After ten seconds...
"Hah! that's what you deserve, demon!" Gabriel taunted.
After thirty seconds of shaking...
"Heh..heh...I think he's had enough now, Mi." Gabriel suggested.
After one minute of shaking...
Mi stopped shaking the bottle...
"Thank goodness, I was starting to feel bad for him." Gabriel laughed.
Mi then took out a piece of paper, a pencil, and scribbled down and "1".
Gabriel placed an hand of Mi's shoulder, "Eh..what does the "1" stand for, Mi?" he asked.
Without turning to face Gabriel, Mi said "For every thirty seconds of combat... comes a minute of penance."
Phyl turned to Gabriel and in a voice unusually high pitched for even a mantis' size said, "Mercy... just kill me!"
"Alright then, I'm getting a little scared so I'll just leave, but I'll be back to see my Mi again soon!" Gabriel said, turning to Gyll and Kaber,
"You better be good to her." Gabriel warned before disappearing into a pillar of light and feathers.
