CREAK! BOOM! THUD!
"Sorry for the intrusion but you're coming with us, kid! Now!" An individual covered in black and silver garments commanded as their cognac eyes focused upon Billy. While quickly scanning the room and putting up a barrier around the dining hall.
Silencing the crowd before they could even cause a commotion and attract more attention, after breaking through the ceiling and using the flooring underneath as a cushion to halt their descent.
Signaling a group of similarly clothed individuals to quickly jump down and manage the situation before things got messy.
"Sorry, again everyone but the longer your classmate stays here. The more dangerous the situation gets for all of us, including you all, so, to prevent such a~"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"Fuck! Just how persistent is this bastard." One of the clothed individuals muttered wearily as they stood behind Rin with a dagger to his throat.
"Zero, Cloak, and Shadow please take target 0759 and escort him immediately to Gateway 1 as I and the rest of the team try to stop this fool before he plunges the world into chaos." The team leader said with urgency as she threw a capsule toward Zero.
Who caught it and threw a slick comment, "Fine, by me boss just don't die before I can kill you." He chuckled as he zoomed toward their boss with Shadow and Cloak following right behind him.
"Hey, what do you..." Billy shouted before being knocked out with a karate chop to his neck and thrown like a sack of potatoes to Zero, who caught Billy and lunged him over his shoulders.
"Sorry, but we got to go, pal, so until time then, boss! Bye!" Zero said with a smile as he bid farewell and vanished in a flash of blue light with Cloak & Shadow after crushing the capsule.
Shatter. Zap.
And with that, they were gone... yet, the situation was far from over…
"Fuck! Ugh, this cannot be happening?!" sighed Rin as he stood up and dragged his body over to where Billy and his kidnapper were once standing. Completely ignoring everyone else around him as this would not have happened if he had simply listened to Ezekiel earlier.
"Hey! Hey! What do you think you are doing?" The boss said as she glanced at Rin suspiciously and summoned her trusted katana, Kyoto.
"Nothing, just trying to decipher where you took my friend is all," replied Rin as he bent down and traced his finger across the ground, secretly unsealing a portion of his cultivation and allowing it to flow into his eyes, allowing him access to the most basic form of his Heavenly Eye - Time.
"Hmm, and why is that kid?" she asked curiously, entertaining whatever Rin was trying to do.
While keeping a close eye on her surroundings so, that if he or someone tried to pull a stunt. She would be able to quickly react and decapitate them effortlessly.
"Because you guys aren't strong enough to protect him so, I have to go rescue him myself before another innocent life is taken because of humanity's greed for power and status," Rin stated honestly as he faced the boss and smiled eerily.
Swish.
"And what makes you so sure I won't kill you right now, Rin Okumura? The son of Adam and Crystal Okumura and the successor of the Okumura Clan," she asked like an executioner waiting for the signal to behead a victim as she stopped her blade an inch away from his neck.
This caused everyone to bat their eyes in anticipation of Rin's next move as they kept looking back and forth between their captain, Niko, and Rin.
'So, Rin just what will be your choice, will you a. (stop hiding and save a classmate's life) or b. (continue gathering strength so that one day you may avenge them and shock the world)?' Niko wondered as he stayed silent and watched Rin intensively, awaiting his choice along with everyone else.
Yet, as that was going on Rin was trying his hardest to ignore a certain someone, 'Rin! I know you can hear me always acting like you got everything under control! Well, look where that has gotten you... blah... blah...'
'...' Rin.
'Tsk, so now we are playing the silent, huh? Well, what are going to do now, kiddo, as the longer you stall for time the worse the situation will get… blah... blah...'
'...' Rin.
'Yet, while I may be upset at the fact you did not heed my warning, Rin. I cannot just place the blame on you as I would have never thought technology could grow to such a height in less than a thousand years.' Ezekiel said with a sigh as did not continue after that and just left Rin alone.
'Thanks, Ezekiel for those kind words of encouragement, you're such a motivating person.' Rin commented after what seemed like 2 hours of nonstop chatter and with that the choice he made.
"Sigh, I guess it was bound to happen someday..." He whispered as his voice echoed throughout the dining hall with eyes that leaked an intense bluish-white light.
That coated the entire dining hall from head to toe in a blue like the ocean. Generating a 3D image of the dining hall and the events that transpired in the last twelve hours. In the form of holographic pictures that could be maximized or minimized at will with just a command.
Zap. Whoosh. Splat.
"Huh?! What are you..." She shouted before being swiftly killed by a figure of lightning with eyes overtaken by a vague nine-petaled flower pattern, which concealed the cosmos within them.
Followed by the rest of her team as the dining hall was instantly stained with blood and body parts scattered all over the place. Causing a couple of the students to throw up in disgust at the massacre that occurred before them.
'Sigh, so that accused eye still exists after all, huh? The infamous Seventh Eye of God better known as the Joker's Fortune and shown to have authority over Time, Space, and Soul.' Ezekiel muttered in shock and sadness the moment; he saw a bed of nine-petaled flowers briefly appear within the Soul Palace.
'Hmm, so in the end he is a troublemaker after all... just my luck, but a promise is a promise. Sigh, who would have thought I would be revealing myself so soon, after not even completing a semester of high school?' Rin thought with a chuckle as he briefly scanned over the data available to him.
Which was quite plentiful as he realized that the intruders used the break-in as a distraction to set the timer for a transportable teleportation device (capsule), that takes two minutes to charge up.
This was what Zero used to transport Billy and his two teammates to Gateway 1, however, do be aware that this only took less than ten minutes to accomplish from the time they arrived until their departure.
"Well, this should be fun..." muttered Rin before glancing at his teacher, "So, Niko are you satisfied now?"
Rin asked with a yawn as he summoned Scarlet and swirled it around a few times, enjoying the feeling of holding his friend once again after such a long separation.
"Of course, but do please hurry, Rin as this isn't a simple rescue but a race against time itself, so good luck and please, don't go overboard... Oh and don't forget to watch out for the older demons, some of them should've woken up by now." Niko expressed as he looked at Rin proudly like a father when his kid won the championship.
"Sigh... well, good luck, teach and hopefully this signals the end of our field trip," Rin said as he left the safety of his classmates in Niko's hands.
Before closing his eyes and swinging Scarlet downwards at the space before him. Causing it to shatter into millions of pieces that rearranged themselves into a spatial tear.
That sucked him in, transporting him through a tunnel of darkness. Filled with flashing lights and objects moving faster than light.
[Sigh... so, why did you help him Niko, when this was meant to be a test for him?]
'Because I see my little brother in him... so why not, Dalia?' Niko replied with a shrug before turning his head toward a desolate corner of the hall, "So, Hall Master Ken why didn't you stop them?"
"Hmm… oh, well I just did not feel like it, plus, I have already helped you once before young master. So please don't call for me unless your soul flare is about to extinguish." Hall master Ken said indifferently as he left and went to monitor Rin.
'Sigh... just when will it end, oh lord.' Niko thought as he snapped his finger and purged everyone's memories of the incident. While fixing the ceiling and flooring of the resort as compensation for allowing them to stay on such short notice.
Before sending everyone back to their assigned rooms, considering this was bound to be an eventful day. And it would be better if they stayed in their rooms for now, until things cooled down and returned to normalcy.
