After stepping out of the building, only Li Na, Lu Jun-hui, and Little Tiger entered the waiting car. Emily, however, had quickly turned away, heading toward the roadside where she flagged down a cab.
Before leaving, she leaned toward Lu Jun-hui, her tone firm and unyielding. "Take Li Na and Little Tiger to your residence on the city outskirts," she instructed. "Once they're settled, meet me at Wang Dawei's house. Don't keep me waiting."
Without further explanation, she stepped into the cab and disappeared into the bustling traffic, leaving Lu Jun-hui muttering under his breath as he climbed into the driver's seat. Li Na watched her go, curiosity flickering in her eyes, but said nothing as she adjusted Little Tiger in her arms.
