Chapter 106 - It does not matter - Antimatter

Eve's gaze is drawn to the golden arrow sticking from her shoulders.

She pluck it out and watched as the wound healed right as the golden arrow's tip left her skin.

She then watched as the arrow turned into smoke and disappeared completely from her hands.

A few seconds later she felt another arrow struck her other shoulder. Then right before reached out to pluck the new arrow out, she felt a new incoming attack from another direction.

Her instinct kicked in and she moved to another direction. However, even with her super enhanced speed she could barely dodge this new attack.

Furthermore, after her feet landed on the ground following her last evasion, she felt another arrow struck at her lower back.

Her frown deepened, she tried to observe her opponent and confirmed the power emanating from the golden arrow that's being shot at her.

She tried to brace herself as another arrow was released and was heading her way.

---------------------------

With a bit of satisfaction, Lanara gloated as she watched her opponent dodge uselessly again.

She happily fired another arrow after using her ability and perfectly predicted where her opponent will dodge to.

She watched as another arrow gets added to the twenty something golden arrows that are already sticking out of her prey.

"It's useless you know, I can predict the future and knows exactly what you will do before you can even make your move."

Lanara proved this by adding another arrow to Eve's body.

"I'm not sure how you people were able to kill my sister's hunting party but I will make sure that you and your so called puny master will be dead today."

She said it with scorn and a righteous air in her voice.

"Your people should learn your place, and that's beneath our feet."

She emphasized her last statement by appearing twenty feet above the arena and firing another arrow right above Eve's head.

--------------------------

Eve was constantly checking the HP bar that's showing on her heads up display.

After getting hit from the first golden arrow. She started sporting a frown on her face.

It's not really because of the fact that she just got hit, it's more about her HP bar. The thing didn't even register a loss of HP.

Well, there was a tiny, almost insignificant reduction after the arrow hits but her HP regenerated a millisecond after that the damage didn't even need to be registered at all. It took her 2 more golden arrows to realize this, initially she thought that her HP remained full.

She tried to see if getting multiple hits would have any difference but to her dismay the bar indicating her life was not even showing any significant dent.

She admitted that the main reason why she tried to evade her opponent's attacks is because of her lingering fear that she might get hurt.

Although she knew that the technology that Adam fused into her body is enough to single handedly obliterate this whole planet, it still something that her mind needs to get accustomed to.

Eventually, her mind clicked in and confirmed that there is nothing to be afraid of here.

When that realization happened the thrill of the fight died down and she lost interest.

She completely stopped dodging, getting hit by a few more golden arrows in the process.

"I'm sorry pretty elfie, I wasn't really paying attention to what you were saying there. But whatever it is I'm sure it was great."

Eve walked over to her hammer and hefted it back to her shoulder. All the while still being hit by constant barrage of the elf's arrows.

"I did hear that you can predict the future right?"

All of a sudden. The elf's bright shining  eyes turn as big as dinner plates. A clear look of horror were shown on her features. She redoubled her efforts and fired golden arrow one after another.

Meanwhile, Eve just simply took the arrows and didn't even bother to pretend dodging anymore.

She lifted her arm and on top of her palm, a small black ball suddenly appeared.

The moment the tiny ball appeared the entire arena was enveloped with the shield again protecting all the audience. However, everyone who's watching saw that the shield was clearly being strained due to the extreme force that's currently happening inside.

Eve have created an antimatter bomb as big as a molecule and detonated it inside the small space of the arena.

The force is enough to obliterate an entire city but it was contained by the shield around the stage.

Eve maintained the explosion long enough for the elf to reappear from her skill. A minute later the shield went back to its original pristine state and everyone saw the devastation inside the ring.

A lone figure was left standing in the middle.
