Bourne could tell what was the intention of the guildmaster of Phantom Lord to meet him and didn't feel surprised by his coming.
Then without waiting too long, Bourne saw the person who wanted to meet him.
"Mr. Walter, it has been a while," Jose Porla said with a smile after he entered Bourne's room.
"Mr. Jose, it has been a while," Bourne said with a smile.
Jose is a tall, slim man with long, straight, dark red hair reaching down to his shoulders and a thin mustache. He has a long and sharp face, vaguely pointed ears, prominent eyelashes and dark-colored lips.
In the past, the relationship between Jose and Bourne wasn't that good because of Ur since because of Ur, Jose's intention to enter Ten Saints Wizards needed to be postponed.
Of course, Jose was very furious at that time and wanted to cause Bourne trouble, but when Bourne's status had changed into the richest man in the continent and also often put a job on Phantom Lord, they reconciled and their relationship was quite good and before long Jose also became a member of Ten Saints Wizards.
Let bygones be bygones, as long as there was enough benefit Jose also decided to forget the matter between the two.
In Bourne's mind, as long as someone didn't cause a big trouble for him such as what Gray had done to him or someone that was related to Zeref's cult, then there was a chance for him to make a peace with them such as what he had done to Simon and Jellal who were a council member of Magic Council.
"Please sit down," Bourne said.
"Thank you." Jose nodded and sat on the soft sofa.
"Do you want tea or a coffee?" Bourne said.
"Coffee for me," Jose said.
"Metal, do you have that?" The young man with a lot of piercings on his face asked.
"There should be, I own an ore mine after all." Bourne looked at Juvia and asked, "Juvia, can you help me?"
"Yes, Bourne-sama." Juvia nodded and walked to the pantry to prepare coffee, tea, and metal.
When Juvia walked out, Jose said, "But still, the defense mechanism of your office is very strong. I can't even use my magic here."
The young man beside Jose also tried to use his magic, but it was futile.
"Don't worry, I won't rob you," Bourne said with a smile.
Jose laughed and said, "I am not worried that the richest man on this continent is going to rob me. Compared to you, I am a poor old man."
"Yes, yes, a poor old man who is the guildmaster of the strongest guild in the country, right?" Bourne said while praising Jose. He could even see Jose's smile was very bright when he praised Jose's guild as the strongest guild in the country.
Bourne could tell what Jose's intention was to come visit him, but then his eyes glanced at the young man beside Jose since he knew very well the identity of this young man.
"Gajeel, you're a Dragon Slayer magician, right?"
Gajeel nodded and asked, "Yes, what's wrong?" He knew Bourne very well and the same as Natsu in the past, he had also provoked Bourne, but at that time, he quickly regretted his choice back then since he felt that he was drowned deep into the ocean.
However, it didn't mean that Gajeel was going to admit defeat and was going to challenge him in the future.
"Depending on the element of your magic, you can eat those elements, right?" Bourne asked.
"Yeah." Gajeel nodded and said, "That's why I can eat metal." He looked at Bourne and asked, "I have heard that you have fought, Salamander. How is he? Is he strong?"
"Salamender?" Bourne raised his eyebrow since he didn't remember that he had fought Salamender.
"Bourne-sama, Salamender is the magician who has screamed at you before," Ikaruga said.
"He's all talk." Sorano snorted and said, "But he has been defeated with one move by Bourne."
Gajeel snorted and said, "I guess Salamender is weaker than I thought, huh?"
Bourne remembered the magician who was screaming at him, but he defeated him with one move. The only thing that he remembered was that Salamender was very loud, and besides that, he didn't know too much about it. He looked at Jose and asked, "So, Mr. Jose, what's your purpose in coming here? I don't think that you're coming to have a simple chat, right?"
Before Jose answered Bourne's question, Juvia came while bringing a coffee, a tea, and a metal then put it into the table.
"Thank you." Jose nodded and sipped his coffee slowly before he looked at Bourne. "Mr. Walter, how about we work together to destroy Fairy Tail." He didn't hesitate and directly told Bourne about his intention.
Jose knew about the conflict between Bourne and Fairy Tail and thought that it was a chance for him to become the strongest guild in the country.
Jose always had an ambition to become the strongest guild in the country, but most people would think that the strongest guild was Fairy Tail, not his guild which annoyed him.
When Jose heard that Fairy Tail had antogonized Bourne, he thought that guild had ended and he was sure that all of the jobs from Bourne's company would be taken by his guild which made him happy.
"Even if you don't do anything such as guild might be destroyed sooner or later," Bourne said.
"But don't you think that their existence is a bother for you? Don't you want to destroy them?" Jose didn't want to give up.
"I didn't hate the Fairy Tail. I only hate one of the members in that guild." Bourne showed his lazy smile and said, "And you know, a conflict between two guilds is being forbidden by the Magic Council. If they know that you plan to cause trouble to the Fairy Tail, your guild might be disbanded."
Jose frowned and asked, "Mr. Walter, are you going to report us?"
"No." Bourne shook his head and said, "You're free to do what you want and I won't report you since I am not a member of Magic Council, but..."
"But?"
"I have heard that the Magic Council hates the Fairy Tail. If you can impress them somehow, then you might get their support," Bourne said.
Jose then smiled and asked, "Mr. Walter, please tell me how can I get the support of Magic Council?"
"......"
Bourne twitched his lips and didn't really want to be part of Jose's plan, but his eyes glanced at the table which was shown a document about Fairy Tail.
Jose followed Bourne's gaze and saw the name of one of the members of Fairy Tail.
"I'm sorry, but I can't help you in this matter, Mr. Jose," Bourne said and apologized.
"Don't worry, I won't force anyone to join my plan, but please don't tell anyone about it," Jose said.
"But please let me remind you, Mr. Jose," Bourne said.
"What is it?" Jose asked.
"A conflict between guilds might be forbidden, but competition isn't forbidden. If you really want to be the strongest guild in the country then you need to face them in a fair match without doing something sneaky," Bourne said.
In the end, what mattered the most in this world was strength, as long as someone strong enough, even the rule in this continent would bow down.
Jose smiled and said, "I will try." However, he felt that Bourne's plan was too naive since he wanted to destroy Fairy Tail thoroughly. Then he didn't say too much and said goodbye since he knew that Bourne wouldn't help him.
Bourne didn't stop them and let them go back without sending them back.
"Do you think that they will fight Fairy Tail directly?" Sorano asked.
"No." Bourne shook his head and said, "But don't you think that it'll be interesting to hold a competition between guilds in this country?" He felt that he needed to talk about his plan to the king of this country.
