After that battle, Ur had officially became a member of the Ten Saints Wizards.
Everyone agreed that Ur's power was very powerful and she was suitable to become one. Even though some people didn't really like it, they didn't utter it out from their mouths.
Ur had become a member of the Ten Saints Wizards, even if she didn't have that much authority, but as a member of this organization, her standing didn't lose to the nine main members of the magic Council and only below the chairman of the Magic Council itself.
Ur was a new member of the Ten Saints Wizards, but even so, it didn't mean she was able to access the secret within the Magic Council. She needed some achievement and she needed at least a year or two before everyone could trust her with various secrets.
The one who quickly accepted Ur was Belno and Yajima, it seemed that both of them had a good impression of Ur.
Belno was a woman so she felt happy that there was a female magician on Ten Saints Wizards.
Yajima was happy because Ur had defeated Makarov and laughed while praising her.
Ur didn't mind getting to know them, especially Belno.
Though when Ur was talking with Belno and Yajima, Bourne and Ultear were talking with Org and Gran Doma.
Bourne knew that he needed to get acquainted with both Org and Gran Doma since both of them were one with the most authority within the Magic Council.
Org seemed satisfied with Bourne's performance and he could tell that Bourne was very smart, strong, and didn't like to cause trouble.
There were a lot of strong magicians in this world, but almost all of them loved to cause trouble to society.
Org was a very strict person and he didn't want the member of Ten Saints Wizards to cause trouble such as God Serena.
"Bourne, how about you join a Magic Council?" Org asked.
Bourne wasn't surprised by Org's invitation since he had shown his power bower.
Ur's ice was very cold, it was so cold that it could freeze them to death, but Bourne's heat magic could melt Ur's ice.
It meant that even if Bourne wasn't as strong as Ur, his strength was very strong and he was very young.
It would be too wasteful to not invite Bourne into the Magic Council.
"I'm sorry. I can't join the Magic Council now since I want to do something else," Bourne said.
"Oh, what is it?" Org asked.
"Businessman."
Bourne knew that it was necessary to have money and if he became a member of Magic Council, it was impossible to have a lot of money, unless he was a corrupt member.
Being a member of the Magic Council is similar to becoming a civil servant or a soldier in his previous world. It might have a stable income, but it isn't too much.
Bourne had two women beside him and of course, he needed money to take care of them and being a member of Magic Council wasn't one of them.
"Businessman!"
They were very surprised when they heard that Bourne was going to become a businessman since they had thought that Bourne was going to join a guild or become a doctor since Bourne had an ability to heal Makarov.
Makarov, who was being healed by Bourne, had woken up and sighed when he thought that he had lost against Ur, but lost is lost. He didn't have a complaint and knew that he was weaker than Ur.
Then after that battle, they gave Ur, Bourne, and Ultear information about the attack of the Alvarez Kingdom and told Ur to be prepared since as a member of Ten Saints Wizards, she had an obligation to help when this continent was being attacked by the enemy.
Ur didn't really mind and agreed to help when there was a problem within the continent.
Listening to the conversation, Bourne had to admit that the member of Ten Saints Wizards didn't have that much of obligation to do and this organization was very loose. However, the members of this organization needed to protect the reputation of the organization.
"Aside from the matter of Alvarez Kingdom, is there some other problem in this continent?" Bourne asked since he felt that it was necessary to get more information about this continent and it was also beneficial for his business.
Hearing Bourne's question, they nodded and told him all of the problems within the continent from the dark guild, slave trader, Zeref's cult, etc.
Ur frowned and knew that there was a lot of problem in this continent, but she didn't expect to be this much. However, she wasn't a hero nor was she a saint. She needed to think about Bourne and Ultear, especially Bourne.
In the past, Ur wanted to help Gray, but she didn't expect that everything would turn into a disaster.
After they received that information, they decided to stay on the Magic Council for a while since this organization also prepared accommodations for its members.
As a member of Ten Saints Wizards, Ur, of course, received quite a large room.
Bourne, Ur, and Ultear entered the room together and started to eat a dinner that had been prepared by the chef of the Magic Council in their room.
While eating his dinner, Bourne sorted the information that he had received on a note.
"What are you going to do with it?" Ultear asked, curiously looking at Bourne's note.
"I plan to solve one of the problems on this continent," Bourne said.
"Really?!" 2x
Ultear and Ur seemed very surprised since they didn't expect this super villain to do something good.
Bourne was really a super villain considering what he had done in this world. He had frozen half of the country, used a lot of people's lives to become his guinea pig, then washed away all of his crimes by joining the Magic Council. He even made Ur became a hero that had returned the Land of Isvan to the way it was.
If Bourne wasn't a villain, then they weren't sure how to describe him.
Though, they loved him.
"Is this a very surprising thing?" Bourne twitched his lips and didn't care much what they were thinking. He didn't have a hobby to help someone since he didn't have a good memory of it, but it was different when he obtained something from it.
Bourne wanted to build a business and he needed to have a good reputation so solving one of the troubles within the continent would give him a shortcut into that reputation.
"Yeah!" 2x
Ultear and Ur laughed then both of them sat on his left and right side.
"So what problem, is it?" Ur asked.
"It's about charm magic," Bourne said.
Charm magic had become a big problem in this continent since it had been misused by a lot of people. Because of this magic, there were a lot of girls that had been kidnapped and being sold as slaves by a lot of people.
The power of charm magic was quite weak and it was very easy for a magician to break away from the effect of this magic, but for normal people, they could be instantly charmed by this magic and couldn't break away until the effect had been dispelled by someone or the caster of this magic.
For those normal girls, after they were charmed, it was only a time before they were kidnapped by a group of dark magicians.
Of course, Ur and Ultear were angry when they knew about the misuse of charm magic. They were women and they knew the fate of those women after being kidnapped wouldn't be a bright one.
The Magic Council had banned this magic. Unfortunately, the circulation of this magic had become widespread and even if the Magic Council had worked hard to forbid the mastery of this magic, there was always some people who broke those rules and used it for their own selfishness.
Bourne wanted to create a way to break away from the effects of the charm magic for those normal girls who couldn't use magic. He was sure that there was a way to dispel the effect of charm magic without using magic.
Hearing Bourne's plan, Ur and Ultear became excited and would help him no matter what.
"So how are you going to tell everyone about the way to dispel this magic?" Ultear asked. She was confident that Bourne would find a way to solve the matter of charm magic, but she was cornered about how to tell everyone about this.
"If you're worried about that then you don't need to worry since I'm going to buy something that can easily publish my research," Bourne said.
"What is it?"
"Is it part of your business?"
Bourne nodded and said, "Yes, I'm going to buy a Sorcerer Magazine."
"Sorcerer Magazine?" 2x
They didn't know what it was, but they anticipated it.
They continued to talk to each other before they slept on the same bed since they were very tired and soon, they knew that it would be Bourne's birthday and Ur seemed to have made up her mind what kind of gift that she was going to give him.
