Chapter 46 - Play (7)

Since Feng Qi was not applying any strength on his end at all, this meant that Jun Yang had to work in extra force to keep the balance. In other words, he had to apply a firmer grip to prevent Feng Qi from slouching and eventually falling.

The side effect was that as he applied greater strength, it would mean that he would have a finer sense of the object that he was holding… even though that was not Jun Yang's intention.

Jun Yang could feel Feng Qi's wiry muscles under his touch. He held Feng Qi by his arm and back so the curvature of the young man's muscle was traceable by Jun Yang's touch.

Jun Yang did not follow Feng Qi's schedule that closely to know what the young man did on his free time but he was pretty sure Feng Qi did not have the habit of going to the gym. Furthermore, the muscle that he felt did not seem like they were result of a strenuous gym regime either.

Feng Qi was not bulging in muscles like those Mr. Universe but instead his frame was compact and sturdy. It spoke of a steady core strength and it probably was the result of repeated manual labor.

Even though this was not his choice, Jun Yang felt like such a pervert as these thoughts filtered through his mind. Naturally, the young man tried to cleanse his thoughts. However, as inexperienced in the ways of the mind as he was, the young man did not realize for something like desire, they only came back harder once you tried to stem them.

As Jun Yang tried to push the thoughts away, more unsavory images that shall not be put down into words here started to pop up in his mind. He needed to do something about it or he might be caught in an embarrassing situation.

"Will you please get up already?" Jun Yang said in quick desperation.

"But I feel so safe and stable held in your cradling arms, Jun Yang," Feng Qi moved his lips to say.

'He must be doing this on purpose,' Jun Yang thought with a mounting degree of annoyance. The young man knew he could only depend on himself. If he allowed this to continue, unable to resist the urge, his hands might start to wander… o yes, that was definitely something that he did not want to happen during class.

He channeled his energy and with a grunt, he gave Feng Qi's limp body a great shove. In fact, the shove was so hard that Feng Qi had to steady himself before he slipped and fell. After the young man caught a firm footing, he turned to whine, "Do you have to be so rough?"

Jun Yang knew that Feng Qi was joking because that complaint soon turned into a mischievous grin, "But regardless, I'll be sure to be gentle and kind when it's your turn… unless, of course, you prefer it rough?"

Jun Yang was too embarrassed to answer that question so he quickly turned his head away to pretend like he did not hear it. At that moment, a different possibility came to Jun Yang's mind and his heart was seized by consternation. The sense of dignity and shame that set up his boundaries would not have stopped Feng Qi one bit. They operated under different guide lines. After all, Jun Yang knew the man's shamelessness knew no bounds.

Thinking about the schemes that might be percolating through his mind, Jun Yang regarded Feng Qi with caution. In return, Feng Qi sensed the young man's eyes on him and he said in a reassuring voice, "Jun Yang, come on now, what are you waiting for? You've kept me safe and caught me when I was falling, I would definitely do the same for you. I will hold you so tight!" He then waved his hand to urge Jun Yang to get into position.

Okay… that was exactly what Jun Yang was afraid of, that Feng Qi would use the lesson as a pretext to… well, who knows what the young man would have done with Jun Yang caught firmly in his arms.

Jun Yang looked around and the rest of his class was doing the exercise, in fact some of them were having quite a bit of fun with it. It would have been weird if he just stood there and stopped their set from moving forward.

If Mr. Sam noticed that and asked why he was reluctant, what was he going to say? He was afraid that Feng Qi might do some unsavory things to him… that was definitely not going to fly and it would only make the situation worse.

After some back and forth in his mind, Jun Yang relented. At the end of the day, as the name of exercise suggested, while Jun Yang did have his reservation regarding Feng Qi's shameless proclivity, he did place trust in the young man.

With the decision made, Jun Yang tried to toss the reservation out of his mind, after all, if he had made the decision, why worry about it?

He stood in front of Feng Qi, facing away from him. He crossed his arms before his chest and took in a deep breath. "Okay, I'm ready."

"No problem, just fall into my arms." He heard Feng Qi say from behind him.

In spite of everything, when Jun Yang heard that utterance said in confidence, he felt a warm tingling in his heart.

As he leaned backwards, his sight moved upwards. The image of his classmates fell away and he saw the curtain that was attached to the stage, after that came the spotlights that were hidden from the audience's view and then, the scaffolding that was at the roof of the auditorium…. Wait a minute, he was not supposed to see those because it would mean that he was almost leaning flat, parallel to the ceiling! He should not have been fallen that far! Feng Qi should have caught him by now!

In a panic, Jun Yang glanced out from the corner of his eyes and the ground appeared much closer than he had hoped. This only made him panic even more.
