As we came back talking and laughing, a doubt came to me and I asked him. "Bro, where do you study?"
"I study at Oak High School. Why?" He asked as we sat on the bench in front of the academy.
"Ohh, what a coincidence, I'm transferring there." I said while I was raising my eyebrow.
"Ohh, I hope we're in the same class, I can introduce you to my friends and some girls." He said.
"If you're going to introduce me to some girls, why are you always alone?" I asked, holding my laugh.
"Cause I want to, baby? If I wanted any girl, I'd stay with me." He said bravo looking away.
"Hahahahaha, I know, let's see if that's all just talk when school starts." I laughed when I got up and threw açaí's plastic cup in the trash and waved at him going away.
When I got home, the children were sitting there watching TV while they were holding the dolls I had given them.
I took another bath, to take the sweat off my body and sat down in front of the computer to study the subject for next semester.
I don't know how the INT status works, since decorating content doesn't make me any smarter if we apply it in real life, it will only make me know more about decorate. But if I stop to think that this is stimulating my brain, it might make sense for me to increase INT when I study.
Like every good RPG player, when I realized that I could increase the status of INT just by studying a few hours, I didn't resist and started to study every day. This may be useful for me in the future, as it will create a basis for if I wanted to study something more advanced and specific.
When night came, I felt tired and turned off the monitor. When my room became all dark, the only light that came in was that of the window that was a little open. One of the misfortunes of having the room in the basement is that the view is very limited, so I left my room and went into the living room.
"Son, I'm glad you left. We were thinking about buying a pizza at the pizza place next door, what flavor do you want? I'll go get it." My father said with a smile.
"I just finished school, let me get it, I need to stretch a bit." I suggested it.
"That'll do, too, while you go and we'll set up something else here at home." My father smiled with the helpful attitude I was having.
When I was leaving the house, I saw a similar movement happening in the house next door. For always staying in the basement, the old Zy didn't know anybody from around here.
And man... this would be a great chance. When I looked at who was leaving, I saw a girl with long black hair, an oval face, pulled eyes, and a perfectly proportional body. A beautiful Korean, or at least a descendant of one.
I guess she didn't notice me, so when I saw that she was going in the same direction as me, I decided to pull the trigger, for the sake of the good neighborhood. "Good night!"
Seeing that a stranger was on her side greeting her out of nowhere, the first reaction she had was to distance herself and assess me suspicious. "Good evening, can I help you?"
"Actually, I've never seen you around here, have you moved in recently?" I asked.
She evaluated me and since she saw no apparent malicious intent, and because we were in a public place, she relaxed a bit and responded. "I've lived here for three years, actually."
"Woah, it's actually me who should be considered new here, since even though I've lived here for 7 years, I've never left home much." I answered as I laughed, intentionally leaving room for her doubt to look for an answer.
"Seven years? What do you mean? Where do you live?" She started asking with curiosity. Internally I thought, "First stage, complete.
"I live next door to your house." I answered as I looked back at the path.
Listening to my answer, I could see through the corner of her eyes that she bowed her head in confusion and asked. "But next door to my house live the Black... unless... you're the oldest son of the Black?"
I look at her in amazement. "Ohh, have you ever heard of me?"
"Yes, your mother comes home sometimes to talk to my mother, and every now and then she talks about her irresponsible son who hasn't left the room in years." She said with her eyes closed looking at me.
With a guilty eye, I answered seriously for the first time in the conversation. "You're right, I am this irresponsible son. So I'm going to the pizza place to at least start making up for the years I've been away."
Hearing my tone and what I was doing, she nods her head positively and says. "At least you have the right attitude. By the way, I'm also going to the pizza place." She says with a smile.
"Did you screw up too?" I asked trying to provoke.
"Me? I don't mess up." She responds with a spiky nose playing. "My father's soccer team won today, he asked me to buy pizza to celebrate. Since I was in the mood for some bullshit today, here I am."
"Makes sense." I said as we walked into the pizza place.
After I paid for my pizza, I waited outside. When I saw her coming, I opened a smile and we came back walking together.
"By your physiognomy, I think you're Korean, right?" I asked.
"Oh, why don't you think I'm Japanese or Chinese?" She asked with her eyebrow up.
I laughed and replied, "Despite the somewhat Western characteristics, I can see from the shape of your face that you're Korean. Do I believe that halfway through?"
"Bingo! I'm half Korean and half American. It's very rare to find any Westerner who can tell the difference." She says.
"I learned a little when I watched some Oriental series to kill boredom." I answered casually.
We keep talking until we get to our homes. Before saying goodbye, I decided to think of the most absurd excuse and asked: "Since we are neighbors, we have to be prepared for everything. How about you give me your phone number so I can help you if you catch fire?"
"Pfft hahaha, okay, I'll put you through the strain." She laughed as she picked up my cell phone and typed in her number.
