Even if you look at the stars forever,
You never truly grasp the universe.
Each star a speck of brilliant light,
Unwavering until the day it collapses
Release all of its energy into the surrounding area.
Such destruction creates an intangible spectrum of colors.
Enraptured only through its beauty;
Humans remain ignorant of its significance.
It is only one less dot amongst a sea of light and dark.
And here we are left,
The stars existence extinguished,
A fragment of a memory.
In time,
A fragment of nothing.
