Henry walked into Ellie Chen's room after a couple hours of hard searching and he was pleasantly shocked. He was so used to Ellie being sick that seeing her look well was a welcomed change. Henry could smell a faint perfume emanating from her french braid as her freshly made up face served to put on the facade of perfect health. She seemed for the first time since he had met her comfortable as she sat by the open window laughing over something hot and frothy as she wiped foam from her upper lip to see who had come into the room. She seemed today to be able to sit properly without slouching awkwardly from the pain in her back.
