"Well, well, well... looks who's here?" a woman speaks behind her.
Deana didn't need to determine the woman; she'd already recognized her annoying, arrogant voice. Somehow, she wonders why she could never forget Marga's voice...
This five-four-foot girl whose face is full of makes up every day. She has a lot of YouTube videos about makeup tutorials. Indeed, she became popular with it.
However, would men prefer a woman who covers many layers of foundation on their faces?
Marga always feels mighty because of her family status and connection to the big boss of the TV station she signed a contract with, and there's not surprising how her agency is more willing to lose her than the support of the De Santos Corporation.
Deana sighed before turning around and facing Marga, "Hello Marga. Indeed I am here..." she greeted sarcastically.
With her height, Marga is just an average tall. She is almost a six-footer, and Marga is nothing if the woman doesn't wear high heels, which she often did.
That one thing bothersome about this girl is, that she even wears a stiletto while wearing a two-piece swimsuit. It was like; she was having a photoshoot. Well, of course, she shouldn't be surprised... Marga is one of that self-love, those who now and then take a selfie and show off everything they are doing.
Although it's her life, and she doesn't care about it, just this girl is shaming many celebrities like how fat this actress or this model has an ugly nose, etc.
And so, they are different people who, wherever you'll take in, there's a clash about their personality and character.
Deana saw that flash of hatred in Marga's eyes before she wore her composure and walked toward Jason. She put her hands around Jason's shoulder.
"This is very surprising to me; you seem to get lost." Marga began throwing sarcasm at her.
She let a sarcastic laugh and replied, "How come? I lived here originally. How about you? Doing your daily surveillance?" She throws sarcasm back at Marga. Saying the word, 'surveillance,' is she pointing at Jason. She is like a shadow following him around and keeps monitoring where he goes and who's with him.
Deana saw the anger registered on Marga's face. She knew Marga was cursing her inside her mind saying, "this girl," blah blah... She doesn't need to say it in words; she thinks in advance.
"So what? I was allowed to visit here anytime I wanted." Marga lifts her chin, saying these words, showing how profoundly she is.
Deana shook her head and chuckled. She wanted to answer when Jana was suddenly standing beside her now. Her friend is throwing a dangerous look at Marga, and behind her is Gary, her soon-to-be husband.
Seeing Jana and Gary arrive, Jason drags Marga away out of the pool area and exits. He utters, "I'm sorry, Pare..." before they leave. He tightly holds Marga's arm, now throwing a tantrum because he drags her out. Jason threw her in the elevator corner and pressed the button on his floor.
Gary Villegas is one of the investors of this condominium building; there's no way he'll create a scene and breach their agreement about a few rules as a resident of this building. Besides, Deana did not do anything, so there's no need for a fight.
"What is wrong with you!? Am not done yet! I wanted to slap that girl's face! Who she thinks she is!" Marga scream.
"Enough! Marga, please! For once, shut your mouth up!" Jason now lost his temper. He felt like his ears wanted to explode from Marga's irritating scream.
Marga stun for a moment. When she realized Jason had gotten out of the elevator, she ran to follow him and confronted him.
"Now that's your treatment towards me after learning that girl is now in the country?! You, you stand there too surprised seeing her again! Why you didn't confront her!" Marga keeps blabbering behind him until they're inside his condo-house.
He turns around and looks straight at Marga's eyes.
"I said, shut up, Marga! If this is what you wanted to talk then why do you not go home instead, now!? So what if Deana is here? For Christ's sake, it's been two years, Marga! Two years!! Move on!" after yelling this; he slams the bathroom door.
He reaches the shower knob furiously. He let the warm water drown his emotions right now. Yes, it's been two years. Enough time for things to forget and move on. He often says these two words 'move on.
However, does he move on already? He doesn't know what to answer if someone asks him.
Ten minutes had passed, and he decided to get out of the shower. He saw Marga still at his house, sitting on the couch with a long face. He knew her; her anger would last forever. He heaved a deep sigh.
"I have a dinner meeting later, so you better go home," he said coldly.
"And what!?" Marga sits up from the couch and walks toward him. "Then you'll go to see Deana?"
Jason looks at Marga's eyes; her voice is full of accusation. He turns around and walks towards the walk-in closet just next to the bathroom.
Marga followed him and grabbed his left shoulder.
"Tell me! You still love her, do you!? What is so good about her? That woman is a cheater! Don't ever forget that!" Marga is screaming again. Her voice makes his eardrums twitch inside.
He heaves a furious sigh and then tries calming himself. There's no point arguing with this woman. "Marga, if you ever understood. I have an important meeting soon with the board. Your father will be there too. I don't want to be stuck in the traffic then apologizing for why I am late."
Today is Wednesday, and many people attend evening mass and go to the churches, so that the traffic will be extremely soon. He shrugged Marga's hand and gave her the cold shoulder. He locked the walk-in closet door and leaned on it.
Marga's words remained on his mind.
'Who truly the one cheating between him and Deana?"
He doesn't want to admit it, but this passing year he began asking himself this question.
