The knock was not that loud,and the moment Ed heard the knock he stood to his feet from the couch and went to the door. He returned after a few minutes and started moving there bags.
"Act like my slave, be naive and innocent and don't open your mouth until we reach our destination,''he whispered along her hair which she didn't plan to tie it up ,covering her ears before his lips brushed her forehead before they walked past the oak doors.
His voice scares her the most,it was like deadliest adventure is waiting for her. She helped him with a bag and followed him out of the door. She is not afraid ,she felt protected when she's with him. Not just because he is her mate,the moment she held onto him in the smoky club a few days ago, she wanted him.After mating with him,she could feel his emotional changes easily.
The chauffeur loaded the bags into the car within a few seconds and moved to the passenger seat.He was a man in his late forties,probably another vampire.
Eve got into the back seat of the car, and Edward got into the other side of the car. They both sat on the other corner of each other. The car went through the new roads which is opposite to the ones she came a few days ago. This one's led to a much more dense forest on either sides of the roads. She felt a bit uneasy and Ed was on the other side of the car.Ed moved close to her ,as if he felt her fear. The chauffeur had been staring at her ever since they started their journey and this made her more uneasy. The sad part is Ed has become a statue.Though he had moved close to her,he didn't make any attempt to comfort her. He's not even turning on to her side, he's been watching those forest passing by.
"Get up, you're not allowed to sleep,''She felt Ed's hands nudge over her shoulders,she was lying on his chest.she tried to hug him ,only to be pushed back from his frame.He is trying to maintain some distance.The she met the cold glazing eyes of the chauffeur in the mirror.
"Sorry my master, I was not aware that I slept, please forgive me",she bowed in front of him taking the role of the slave again.
"come here ",he almost laughed out loud at her response.He liked her in whatever role she took.But this slave role is something he liked the most.This wolf is now a cat under his fingers.He concealed her energy from the chauffeur with his before they started this journey.But this man has probably caught up some sniff ,which made him to stare at her .he has to do something to distract him.
"yes master",she moved closer to him,and stopped when her thighs brushed his.His cold hands wrapped around her slender waist and pulled her on his lap in a split second.his hands slowly curved over her neck and rested behind her head slightly inclining it sideways.
He sank his fangs into her neck, holding her in his lap. She felt a sharp pain from those piercing fangs, and she gave on to him. He sucked in her blood for few seconds and licked his marks on her. That sent shivers all over her body. She want him now, why is he feeding on her now.What if her energy came out along with her desires.Fear ran along her veins and she curled herself on his arms.The car came to a halt.
"Unload the bags and leave",he met the eyes of the chauffer with blood dripping from his fangs.
"Yes sire".The man stopped staring and went out to follow his order.
Edward carried her to the door, she doesn't know when the car stopped.she was distracted by Ed. His alluring lips was all she could focus on. He carried her inside and let her down in the living room holding her in his arms. But his focus was outside the door, the man unloading their bags. He stood still Until the car pulled away to a distance where there was only the sound of trees and birds. The chirping of birds and the sound of flowing water made her feel at home for some reason.
The next moment Ed hugged her tightly ,enough to choke her. He crouched a little to match her height and she wished she wore her heels rather than her flat slippers. He was holding her for more than minutes.She hugged him back and inhaled his scent.She could feel him relaxed.His hands swirled around her hips and pressed her to his strong frame.The feeding part in the car had some consequences and she felt it inside her.
"Do you feel dizzy.Did I drank too much of blood",he caressed her hair along her ears looking into her eyes.Eve felt her eyes clouding up dark ,when she couldn't see no more she lost control of her legs and fell into Ed's arms.
