They were sitting on Lyla's bed ever since she barely managed to escape the three unidentified living object at home. With her hands both wrapped in each other, her mind was blank all of sudden. At first she didn't know what to do or say to Lyla. She didn't plan at all. All that she was thinking was to get to Lyla's house after her breakout. She just sat still as Lyla was comforting her since then.
"Evey, what is happening to you? Where have you gone last night?"
She noticed a warm hand trying to touch hers as Lyla tried to comfort her. She knew that Lyla is worried over looking at her condition right now. She looks so terrible with her bed hair and pyjama still on.
"You know, Frederick was also nowhere to be found!" Lyla rant on. Clearly, she was trying to pull Evelyn to open up to her.
Evelyn was still occupying her thought with the sudden secret. She didn't know why she happened to escape from her own house. She didn't know why did she ran away from her own parents. Truthfully, she doesn't feel safe there anymore as the secrets unfold.
She watched as Lyla's been ranting over and over about what happened last night. But, all Evey could hear was an excessive information being pushed into her head. Its making her sick! Till she couldnt bear it any longer. She reached out her hand and held onto it.
"Lyla, would you please stop talking for a while. I just want to rest. Don't tell anyone about my wellbeing."
Lyla looked stunned for a while. She stared into her friend's eyes. Never did she know about the new side of Evelyn. But, she just know that her friend is having some sort of a problem right now. And she would like to do her best to help her.
"Alright then. You can stay here for the night. I'll be downstairs. Call me if you need anything." With that, Lyla shut the door, leaving Evelyn alone in the room.
As soon as she reached downstairs, Lyla took out her phone and made a call.
"Hello, auntie, this is Lyla. Yes." She ended the call right away. "I'm so sorry Evey, but you cannot escape from family's problem forever. I hope you would never be like me." With a big sighed, she sat alone in the living room. Being alone sure is scary.
The next morning, she woke up from her deep sleep just to find out that she was actually in her own bedroom. Where is Lyla? She did remember going to Lyla's house. And the last time she checked, she was lying in her best friends bed. How come she were back to her own room? Is this some sort of punishment from above?
"Morning, love!" Frayle was patting her head. Evelyn looked stunned! She was putting so much force to escape from them just to be waking up in her own bed,
And, right next to her so called husband! She didn't even know which one of them is her husband! She lifted her hand to touch her head as it felt like its going to burst. Just how do I get rid of him?!
Wait up, Evey! No more running away! Be cool and get this thing settled right on the spot! Her intuition came to her. Sitting down next to him on a bed, she tried to put all the missing puzzle. Its time for a very literally slow talk.
"Tell you what, I've been thinking this matter for these few days, and I cant seem to sort out the best causes and solution yet. I used to be just me in the past but now I am a princess of a kingdom which didn't even exist on the map, being married to a guy with split personality that has been living and sleeping with me ever since, and having told my lovey dovey parents was not mine to begin with. Please tell me what's going on. Am I going crazy? Am I hallucinating?" She could feel his hand is patting her back before he grabbed her and gave a sudden kiss on her forehead.
"Wha, what are you..."
"Lets have breakfast first. Come." Frayle lead her outside towards dining room.
On the table, there were lots of food to comfort her. This woman knew her too well as she was the mother wh's been raising her up until today. They are eating at the dining table when Evelyn suddenly put down her tea cup. Its about time to clear the mess. Any much longer and she could as well make her entrance to the nearest lunatic asylum. Or a high prestige one would be better, so she thought!
"Who are you guys?" with all eyes on her, she bravely asked.
"I am Raven." As he bravely announced his real name, Evelyn's eyes welled up with tears. The guy who used to be her kind dad is no longer here. This raven guy in front of her, although he have the slightest similarity with her father, she still couldnt bring herself to recognised him.
"Me, Ludra." Once, she used to be her loving mother. From Ludra's bright smile, Evelyn could already senses emptiness inside her. There once a place where she could ever feel the safest, has also no longer exists. She just sat still as her tears running down her cheeks. Never did she expect her life would turned this way.
And there's even a guy whom she kept having a crush on. He too, no longer exists on this world.
"Do you still want to know your husband name?" Frayle asked as his finger reaching to wipe away her tears.
"Frayle!" Shouted both the other knight. They couldnt bear his mockery any longer.
"That's my name." What a way to introduce yourself! And Frayle was back to continue with his breakfast.
"All our names you've heard just now is our true identity. We are your guardian." Explained Ludra. Raven added with a few nods.
Evelyn took a deep breath before voicing out her second question, which would be about her true self!
"Who am I?" she bit her lips as she hesitated to hear their explanation. Wondering whether she could really trust them.
"You are Princess Tamara Lutinia El Vivaldi. The right heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Greyacloud." stated Ludra. But before she could say any further, there happened to be a sound of explosions nearby.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!
"Quick! Take shelter!" Frayle took charge of commanding them. He reached out his hand to pull extra shield in front of them. So did Raven.
"In here!" Ludra opened a door, asking them to enter. Evelyn realized that door was never there before. But before she could speak, Raven's voice echoed in the dining room.
"Go! I'll seal the Entrance!" Ludra took her by the hand and lead the way into the door.
"Be quick!" Frayle gave an order to him as he followed Evelyn's back.
"Where are we going? Are they coming after me? My uncle have got the throne already, why would he still after me?" lots and lots of question began jumping out of her mouth. Being her, she would always stand on reasoning. But these kind of events wouldn't have place for reasoning at all.
"Long story." Said Ludra from her back.
"We don't have time for that right now." Added Frayle.
"Lets get us out of here first." Back at Ludra.
"And we can tell about it later." Finished by Frayle. Evey was speechless! Are they synchronising their thought or something?
"Come, this way." They have reached a waterfall hole. But its not water, it was smoke with rainbow colour gushing through the hole ring. And it was falling deep into the hole ring.
"Raven, are you done?" Frayle shouted to the entrance which are being closed by Raven. He was putting some shield on the door. And as soon as he had done, the door no longer exist.
"Coming!" Raven shouted as he dashed to join them.
"1, 2, 3, JUMP!" the three knights shouted in synchronization and before Evelyn could think what was going to happen, Frayle's hand grabbed her waist. And the next second she realized, they were already falling into an endless rainbow smokey hole. She felt her heart and it seems had already stop thumping. I'm dying, am I?!
