She opened her eyes and saw her aunt juliat and Mishel before her, she tried to get up but the pain on her forehead made her to lay down. "Are you Ok sweetie?"juliat asked
"Yes auntie, but where am i ?"
"You are at the hospital.."
" hospital! but it was not a major injury! Why did they admit me here?Can we leave now?"
"Ho Maaya please don't stress out, we can leave only when the doctor administered you to leave"
"It was all my fault, I shouldn't attend the office party on that day..I am sorry aunty I didn't mean to trouble you all, I am sorry"
"Hey just stop blaming yourself Maaya and calm down everything is going to be ok."
" Maaya you woke up, how do you feel now?"
" I am fine, but where were you uncle?"
"I went to complete the formalities of your discharge darling !"

They left the hospital and reached their home, Maaya went to take some rest in her room. She was so hurt that she couldn't sleep,and she started to think about the incidents...
It was really embarrassing to get humiliated before her colleagues by the CEO's girlfriend and they were already gossiping about the news. Now Miya has made her life more horrible, she couldn't face them anymore. She didn't want to continue her job, so she typed her resignation letter and mailed it to the company's HR mail.
"Hey Maaya how do you feel now?"

"What exactly happened in your office??"

"I am sorry uncle, but I don't want to blame her because she is in madly love with him and I don't want to be a reason of their fight, just forget it I don't want to continue my job and I have already mailed my resignation letter to my office, I will start a new life uncle"
" wow Maaya that's a good decision! Can I ask you something?"
"Of course uncle go on"
" can you marry Ayan ? I know it's not the right time but we are worried for you dear. Now this Miya is going to make your life a living hell, she is a psycho Maaya so I want you to be in safe hands"
"I don't mind it uncle and you can say yes to Ayan's family.I am ready to marry him"
"What! Oh my god I am so happy for you Maaya, Ayan came to the hospital to meet you but you were sleeping."

Maaya didn't want to marry Ayan but she had no choice left, her uncle has already done so much to her but she had brought mere troubles to them. Now she wanted them happy and her decision to marry Ayan made them happy so she was ready to do it.
His uncle went to tell Ayan's family about the good news and they have fixed the date of their engagement
" hey Maaya we have fixed the engagement date, Don't get nervous it's on the next Sunday, I know we are in a hurry but I want you to be safe in his hands, besides that I just want to prove the world that you are not a gold digging bitch who is not after the CEO's bloody money"
"It's ok uncle I have already told you I don't mind"
"It's gonna be a small function only the close relatives and friends will be invited for this function and we have fixed the venue at the Ganesh temple
"Do you want me to call anyone of your friends?"

Everything happened so fast that she couldn't process anything clearly,

Days passed he had tried to call Maaya but her number was not existing.then he tried to call her in his office Number, but it was not answered hence he called the receptionist jenni and she told him that Maaya has resigned the job.
Aiden was speechless he just dropped the phone.
His grandfather's health was deteriorating day by day hence he couldn't go back to her. "What happened to her? Why did she quit the job? I have tried to call her but her phone is not in use anymore. What should I do now? I couldn't go back there! But I wanted to meet her. I was damn busy here I have to attend the meetings on video calls and I should concentrate more on my office works and more vigilant on the employees otherwise in my absence the whole Lyston Enterprises will get crashed. Oh god I hope she is fine I just wanted to hear her voice"
Aiden woke up from his thoughts when he heard the screams of his granny, he went there to find his grandpa sleeping peacefully in his bed, " ho Aidy he is no more he left me Aidy, how can I live without him my boy...Luther don't leave me Please take me with you..I can't breath.. oh my god. Aidy Aidy...."
His granny fainted in his arms. Aiden held her tightly, he was very sad and in great pain.
