I slowly wake up. How long have i been here? Minutes...hours...days?I dont want to move. Everything in my body hurts.I feel sick to my stomach as the momery keeps replaying over and over again as if its a broken record.
I feel a soft, fluffy, furry thing rub against my stomach. Its warm.
I slowly open my wet, puffy eyes and see a small, cowardly puppy next to me. You can tell it was a white dog but its coat is so dirty that its hard to tell. It notices that im awake and immediately starts trembling in fear.
I slowly lower my hand, trying not to scare it. It allows me to gently comfort it. This must have been what i heard in the distance.
A small smile appears on my face as im relieved that it wasnt the thing i cower in fear of. I slowly pull my knees in towards me and hold them tight.
I feel emotionless.I can feel the tears and sobs start to build up inside of me again. The fluffy bundle of joy walks and trips over my cold numb, blue feet. I raise my head from my knees and watch the poor thing get up again.
" you like me now...all alone." I whisper to it. It pops its head up at me and runs into the small gap under my raised legs. My head still hurts. I slowly raise my hand to my head and feel the painful spot. I felt a type of wetness on my head. As i lowered my hand I see the bright, metalic, crimson liquid glissing in the some what light.
I revert my attention back to the bundle of fluff hiding between my shivering, numb legs. " well i guess we not alone anymore, we have each other now" I say with a soft smile.
I stand up slowly. My legs dont even feel like the exist anymore but i force them to move. Pushing one in front of the other.I slowly lift my aching head up and see half of the broken plank above and noticed the distance i fell.
" I fell quite abit" I took a look around me and realised that im surrounded by half frozen water and that landed in the middle of the metal flooring which seems to be connected at one side if this dark abis. I glance around looking for an eascape and notice a pair of old, rusted metal stairs leading up towards the top. The only way yo reach them is to cross the death-defying water.I take a deep breath and pick up the tiny dog and take a step in but to my realisation there was no flooring. I began to what seemed like a kicking motion towards the frozen stairs trying to hold up the dog while i swam.
