Chapter 22 - The Skull Reaper

Mint looked back from the screen at the fiendish entity before him, it an amalgamation of fleshy parts and bone armor covering it, the armor looked like Mint's and it is. Mint is currently blocking all of its attacks with 4 tower shields in his Asura state but then he equipped 2 scythes, 2 katanas, a Greataxe, and a Warhammer.

After Mint equipped those weapons the monster that we shall call "Fiend Deity" charged at Mint seeing how he lowered the shields, but as he slashed with his claws they were parried by the katanas, the Fiend Deity while stumbling used the bone tail as a whip lashing at Mint, but he chopped it off with a precise cut with his Greataxe, the Fiend Deity shrieked but Mint pierced its head from both sides with his scythes as he used the skill twice, ending the life of the unfortunate quest boss. Mint then took out the other 2 custom weapons, a tower shield plus Katana, and equipped them with the 'Soul Eater' on his back to show off all of his special weapons. Oh, and after he killed the Fiend Deity he became level 115 because the boss was supposed to be for floor 93 but Mint is strong so no worries.

After Baal started parting ways with Kirito he fell, Kirito immediately came to see what's wrong, Baal said "I might be evolving... A great transformation! In other words, Mint probably finished the quest so I am being strengthened" Kirito nodded his head and saw a bright light coming from the teleport gate area where Mint is... After they all arrived at the teleport gate Mint was seen with his Fiend God wings released, Baal changed because the Incubus count inside him surpassed 100.

Baal evolved into a succubus emperor and Mint 'unlocked' his full as a Fiend God pretty much. A day after he evolved and parted with Kirito Mint went to help his underlings grind. With Mint's help, everyone gained 5 levels, the emperors around 103, the kings around 98 and the dukes around 93 and Mint succeded gaining a single level too so he's 116.

Satan had a look of determination as he told Silica he will come back, it was the same with every emperor with a relationship, especially Baator. As they left their close ones their eyes turned cold and violent, it was time to clear a boss with other groups... They all secretly knew they could summon an army equal to this group or even greater. Mint told Heathcliff and the others that they will meet at the dungeon door as he needs to do something first...

After Heathcliff's group entered the floor they saw Mint's guild, they were all wearing robes and waited in an orderly way with the 4 emperors out front confirming they are ready, in total 84 members [4 Fiend Emperors, 16 Fiend Kings, 64 Fiend Dukes] but as the Fiend dukes have quite a weak summoning they were left out of this boss fight [The author does not want to deal with the numbers]... After Heathcliff finished his speech they heard a sharp screech as a figure flew past the group stopping at the front of the emperors, it was Mint, of course, nodding at Heathcliff while signaling his guild to start moving, as all the guild moved into position they summoned the Fiends, Satan summoned 2 Pit fiends and his kings summoned 20 Ice Devils in total, Maou summoned 4 Balors and his kings summoned 4 more Balors in total, Anthraxus summoned 14 Ultroloths and his kings summoned 24 Ultroloths in total, Baator infused to maximum Devourers, and Hell hounds while his kings summoned 24 Devourers. When the skull reaper landed Mint activated his skills and equipped himself with the previous line of weapons, " " and summoned Baphomet, Fraz-Urb'luu, and Juiblex, all of them are demon lords of the abyss {CR 23} [Baphomet had the appearance of a 12-foot-tall (3.6 meters) humanoid with a bull's head, a bovine tail, and broad, stubby hands and feet. His body was covered with coarse black hair. His horns curved downward and outward. He wielded a giant bardiche.] [Fraz-Urb'luu was a huge creature with two great ebony wings. He was covered in pale blue hair, had gray skin and a long tail. Fraz-Urb'luu had a gargoyle-like form, pointed ears, and a muscular frame] [Juiblex often appeared to be a 9-foot-tall (2.7 meters) cone of slime striped with black, green, brown, yellow, and gray. At other times, he was nothing more than a pool of animated ooze. In all forms, Juiblex was covered in pulsating red eyes that could look in any and all directions]. As The Skull Reaper swung his scythe at 2 players Mint commanded Fraz-Urb'luu to catch the slash and that he did quite easily, Baphomet and Mint rushed from behind Fraz-Urb'luu and attacked the Skull Reaper, Mint with his Warhammer and Baphomet with his horns pushing The Skull Reaper back, Kirito snapped out of the shock of Mint's transformation and demons as he yelled: "Be careful of its attacks!", The Skull Reaper right after being pushed back targeted a player near Heathcliff, Heathcliff blocked the first attack easily but the monster bypassed him and slashed again at the player but Juiblex was near and it sent out tentacles to push the attack to the side missing the player, it then targeted another player but it was pulled back when suddenly a group of Balors attacked it with their fire whips, a part of its body was caught by Baator as he used damaging it, after Kirito shouted the plan to attack its flanks and leave the scythes to Mint's guild, Asuna, himself and Heathcliff... When The Skull Reaper tried to attack using its tail, the tail was smashed and frozen by the pit fiends and ice devils... When The skull Reaper charged at Mint alone he blocked 1 scythe with 2 katanas and the other scythe with the 2 scythes, then Mint hit it with both the Warhammer and Greataxe at the same time knocking it upwards. Generally, the fight was easy for Mint and his guild... The attacks of Baphomet, Fraz-Urb'luu, and Mint have more strength than the boss moreover whenever The Skull Reaper seemed to land a clean hit on the players Juiblex absorbed the hit or his tentacles would be sent to halt the attack, plus Baator's wires and the Balors' whips restrict and damage it so The Skull Reaper has few opening to even get the chance to deal a clean hit.

When the 4th health bar got emptied Mint used the skill <'Electrobution slashes'> with his 2 katanas, after the first slash his speed doubled and again and again it increased for 29 slashes with each katana, with the last slashes The Skull Reaper perished into data crystals, and the Congratulations sigh singled their triumph over the boss. They haven't lost a single player in this fight thanks to Mint...
