Three of them were in constant stalemate. Atlas occupied his left claw, while Nova occupied the other.
"Nova, do the thing you did to me last time!"
"Nah, I used it on someone else."
"You idiot!"
"Don't blame me! Do the skull punch thing again. That'll do the job."
"Can't man. This current one is draining me."
"Thrash!"
"No you!"
Vivid veins of indignation popped over Borus's temple as he watched these two kids who were pinning him quarreling during an intense standoff.
"Sinister Dragon Claws..." the quarreling boy's drew their attention back to Borus, just in time to hear a low murmur. "Volume 3."
The first green vein on his arm popped like an exploding balloon overly pumped with air, oozing out fresh blood.
Following suit, his whole body began bleeding furiously, blood running from his nose and ears as if repelling naturally away from Borus.
This sudden gore change ruined Borus's decent looks, but in terms of physical strength, the pressure exerted on Atlas and Nova discretely increased drastically as his two claws blazed an even eerier night black, dyed in curtains of fiery crimson.
A booming crack generated as the solid earth below their feet split open into segregated pieces.
Nova lifted his other hand, supporting the weight collapsing onto him. Atlas's and Nova's legs bent downwards while more blood exited from the agape scars on Borus, who's obviously drifting into insanity from the affliction dealt to himself.
"Argh!!! I must kill! Kill! Bloodshed!" He released a inhuman howl as a glimmering longsword protruded from his chest.
Kraig sneakily stabbed Borus, seriously damaging him. With a sword still penetrating his chest, Borus shoved Atlas and Nova away, turning to swat Kraig, a Tier 6 Axonn away, with his improved and extended claws, as if he's a wild beast who's not stopping to kill even if it's struggling to stay alive.
But soon enough, the fiery light in his eyes died down, because two set of black claws have pierced through his remaining unharmed chest, sending him toppling onto the ground as Atlas and Nova retracted the pairs of black Aura claws from their knuckles— the Sinister Dragon Claws Volume 1 which they scavenged from Barnes.
Borus still wanted to resist, but as soon as he saw a fade of stunning crackling of violent and murderous shade of crimson in Atlas's deep space black pupils, he dismissed even the slightest intention of negotiating.
He is dying for sure, if he does anymore unreasonable things, his actions will affect many others.
He coughed a mist of blood, probably because he's lost too much in the first place. "I envy you. The next generations is truly unbelievable."
"Any last words?" Nova crossed his arms before his chest after he combed few specks of red liquid out from his half pure golden and half ink black hair.
"Is my son safe?"
Atlas looked over to Bob and his Third Eye caught him fainted on the floor where the first bloody arm of Lei Zhan landed at.
"He's safe."
"Good." Borus coughed out another thin mist of blood. "Will you spare him?"
Normally, Atlas would have undoubtedly said yes. But the weird tingle of when he used 'Sinister Dragon Claws Volume 1" made him want to disagree this time. Maybe see some blood of Bob for flirting with Vanellope and taunting him before?
However, Hugh came in time to say yes, and so did Nova, only then did it snap Atlas out of those violent thoughts.
An unknown fear consumed Atlas. When did he become so bloodthirsty? He kept on hearing a persuading voice in his head. 'Kill him. Kill him..." The intention was so realistic, so strong and crystal, like it came from the bottom of his heart. It was only until Nam's appeasing voice overpowered that demonic chant in his brain when he finally got rid of those thoughts, returning to his original state of mind.
Borus let out a sigh of relief, coughing yet spewing nothing out. He cannot survive any longer.
Atlas felt a little sorry and sympathetic in his heart. After all, Borus is still thinking about his son even at the stage of near death. "Anything else?"
Borus shut his eyes for a few seconds, almost forgetting that he had to reopen them. "Who arranged to destroy us?"
Nova answered. "The Coiling Dragon Arena. An important mission."
Borus didn't reply, still hanging onto an invisible hope of some sort.
"The Draco Family did. They are the ones who declared this mission. Why did you say that they betrayed you? You mentioned that during our fight." Kraig answered this time, frowning with confusion.
[The Draco Family? The crowning Class 1 Warrior Family?] Atlas pondered.
"I'm correct then... why..." the feeble life light in Borus flickered at its last stand.
Using his last burst of energy after he exhaled his last two short sentences, he jerked his head upwards, smashing it forcefully through the aid of gravity onto the jagged surface of the ground.
There was a moment of respectful silence.
"He protected his dignity, choosing not to surrender to his enemies." Hugh sighed, throwing a random cloth over his corpse to cover that obscene death.
Other than lamenting with respect for the death of the leader of Sinister Scales, everyone here who acknowledged Borus's words had to digest his information, and it worries Kraig especially.
"The Sinister Scales... is built by the Draco Family. And the infamous technique we have... is provided by them too."

News about important deaths travel faster than lightning, spreading more frenziedly than the zombie viruses in a horror movie. Almost instantly after the death of Borus, the underground gangs and clans in Daxrim City, and even the neighboring influences have received this story.
They expected Borus to eliminate his child's kidnapper, in exact opposite, Borus, the man who conquered and controls the greatest portion of Daxrim city's underground and illegal corporations, not only didn't succeed, but even perished in the process.
However, despite the fact that a top tier crime syndicate has fallen, leaving a huge piece of meat behind, no one dared to make the first step. To face another group that could wipe away the Sinister Scales is not a logical choice.
If anyone dared to tackle and consume this piece of meat, they would become the next prey.
With a monster claw, he protected his title for more than ten years, yet all destroyed in one day.
Nearly every organization from the top to lower tiers sent their men to investigate, and showing no intention of covering up this incident, the doers were willing to share what happened to the outside world.
The one who decimated the Sinister Scales, is the Coiling Dragon Arena.
Upon hearing this, all men and info collectors packed up and returned back to their base, treating as if this major incident never happened.
The Coiling Dragon Arena! A literal powerful dragon not just in Daxrim city, but in the whole face of China with the government and Warrior Family as alliances.
None of these crime syndicates want to offend the Coiling Dragon Arena.
They don't even dare to.
The names Atlas and Nova, the killers who has slain Borus, has become mildly famous in the modern Warrior society.
