Fangs POV
.
.
.
I watched her, Ari, and that child play in the meadow. Midnight looks so radiant and happy. I haven't seen her look this way in forever.
Evangeline stands next to me looking like she wants to murder.
She's been working with Chen and happily volunteered to bring Midnight back with us since Ari decided to switch sides.
"Whiteclaw." I yell out.
Midnight, Ari, and that brat stopped moving.
"Permission to enter your grounds." I state.
A few moments go by and I watch Midnight and the others leave hastily.
"They're leaving! We have to get them now before-" I cover her mouth and glared at her.
"I'm calling the shots sweetheart, not you. Remember your place." I growl out.
She huffs and jerks away from me with a scowl.
Whiteclaw shows up in his wolf form snarling and four other wolves are flanked around him.
I roll my eyes.
"I saw Midnight walking around with that traitor and brat of hers. I want to speak to her as you promised. Or have you forgotten that?" I say taunting him.
His wolf friends start growling and snapping their jaws at me.
Faintly in my head, I heard him.
'She doesn't want to see you. Leave!'
I start laughing as Evangeline just stands there shell shocked looking at one of the wolves.
"Sorry, but I won't be leaving till I see her!" I boom out.
His eyes cloud over and go back to normal after a few moments.
I stand there facing him and he stands there looking at me with arrogance gleaming in his eyes.
Midnight confidentially starts walking in this direction and once she gets to Whiteclaw, she stops and runs her hand through his fur with a small smile.
She looks up but keeps her hand on him and her face hardens.
"What do you want Romeo?" She booms out with confidence and annoyance.
I stand shocked for a moment then shake it off just as quickly.
It's been a while since she's called me Romeo.
"I want you to return home with me. We only came for that brat of yours and that's it. Let's go." I command her.
"No." She says with defiance.
"I figured you'd say that." I say with an undertone. I look at Evangeline who finally snaps out of whatever trance she was in and disappears before popping back up with a screaming Angel.
"Angel!" Ari yells in the background and looks absolutely savage rushing over here. His hair turned dark brown and his eyes from pitch black to lavender. He's definitely beyond pissed off.
Me and her vanish with the brat just as Midnight, Whiteclaw, and Ari are inches from us.
***
"Moooommmy, dadeeeeeey, Ariiiiiiii! Let go! I wanna go hooooome!!!" Angel screams out frantically squirming. She breaks down into a tantrum and starts screaming and thrashing her legs as Evangeline restrains her wings and puts her in a high chair.
She continues screaming and trying to get out but to no avail, she's trapped.
"I never agreed to kidnap children!" She yelled at me.
"Oh well. We needed to convince Midnight to come somehow. Don't let the fact that you have a child soften you up." I say with nonchalance.
She clenched her jaw and swung her fist at me.
I dodged and backhanded her in the face and watched as she fell passed out.
Angel kept screaming and crying and I stormed over to her.
"If you don't shut the fuck up I'll make you be quiet understand?!" I snarled out just inches from her face.
She stopped screaming and nodded her head and sat there whimpering with tears streaming down her face; her lower lip puckered out pouting.
"Good to know you can listen." I growled out and backed away from her.
I stooped down and picked Evangeline up; throwing her over my shoulder, I walked us to the room she's staying in and threw her on the bed.
On the other side of the bed was Evangeline's child cowering in the corner.
I can not fuckin deal with this shit!
"Scram!" I yelled at him. He got up and took off; wings too big for his body flowing behind.
Those two brats look like small versions of Ari and Midnight. It's so unnerving and I hate it!
I will not let all my years of work go to waste! I will have Midnight and she will do everything I ask of her.

Midnights POV
"He has her! He has my baby!" I say pacing back and forth holding my head having a breakdown.
"I have to save her! I can't let him take her! She'll be killed if she stays with him!" I cry out panicking; remembering how he reacted when he found out I was pregnant with her.
Nathaniel grabs hold of me and embraces me tightly.
"Babe! Look at me!" He says pulling back slightly.
I look at him with teary eyes and I see the determination in his.
"We're going to get our daughter back. No matter what. You have to trust me and the pack. We are Alpha and Luna. One and the same. We're stronger together and you're not that helpless girl anymore. I know you've been secretly practicing with fighting and magic. I also know that your wolf has awakened but you're too scared to accept what you are! Stop doubting yourself and calm down." He says to me.
I take a breath in and let it out calming down as much as possible.
"Do you know where he can possibly be?" He asks looking at me with hope.
I nod my head and determination crosses my features.
"He wants me to go home. There's this dimension full of nothing but vampires and he's the Prince. Our best bet would be there." I say confidently.
He nods his head and kisses me.
"Then that's where we shall go. Get ready; you and Ari." He says letting go.
I take a deep breath and walk away to find Ari.
.
.
.
I find Ari rolling his shoulders and then started swinging a sword around with one of the warriors.
A dodge to the side and a counter move there.
He moves with a deadly precision and his attacks look lethal. He kicks his leg out and the warrior he's going against falls down and quickly rolls away from Aris' death blow.
I stand there watching in fascination till the duel is over.
The warrior and Ari exchange some words and a hand clamps down onto Aris' shoulder. He continues to stand there breathing heavily to catch his breath and then extends his wings.
I look in awe as this is the first time I've actually noticed them.
He turns around and looks at me. His eyes harden and he comes over to me and hugs me abruptly. I gasp out and then start sobbing.
"Ari." I sob out.
He hums in response.
"I hate Romeo! I hate him so much! I...I thought he loved me and wanted me. He promised he wouldn't ever break my heart! Why?! What did I ever do to him?" I cry out in frustration, anger, and sadness.
"I'm sorry. For everything. We'll get Angel back." He says holding onto me tightly.
"Promise?" I whimper out.
He wraps his wings around both me and him and the next thing I know we're launched into the sky.
My heart rate picks up and I start to panic.
"No, no, no, no, no! Put me down, put me down!" I start hyperventilating and I squeeze my eyes shut.
"I can't promise you anything. But I want to teach you to fly again. This time; I won't let my emotions control my reactions." He says with a tight grip on me.
"ARI CONSTANTINE PUT ME DOWN NOW!" I scream out holding on for dear life.
"Unravel your wings, Luna. I'm not going to let anything happen. Fang is going to expect you to release them but not fly. You have no strength in them from the lack of use. On top of that, you should learn to fight in the sky." Ari says to me with a tight grip on my waist.
"I'm scared; I don't want to!" I say burrowing my head into his chest to cover my line of sight.
"I don't want to experience this again! You just dropped me and let me die and you never came to see if I was ok!" I scream into his chest.
"ARI! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!? BRING HER BACK DOWN NOW!" Nathaniel yelled from the ground.
"Like he told you earlier! You're not some helpless girl anymore! You know how to fight and use your magic more now. What's stopping you from doing what you already used to know how to do? Why are you holding on to your fake life?" He badgers shaking me a bit; completely ignoring Nathaniel yelling down below us.
"Because I don't like who I used to be when I was just Midnight!" I scream out.
He lets me go and I scream expecting the fall but when I didn't feel myself plummeting to my death, I opened my eyes. I look around in shock and I start laughing; I barrel into Aris' arms and hug him tightly.
"Thank you." He hugs me back.
"Let's go get your daughter and defuse an angry wolf." He says.
He grabs my hand and we make our way towards the ground. I'm a bit clumsy for the most part, I'm keeping myself afloat enough so I don't die.
"I want to learn how to use a sword." I say to him with nonchalance.
"Maybe."
We reach the ground and Nathaniel comes over and holds me tightly and then kisses my forehead.
"Are you ok?" He asks me sweetly. I nod my head and he kisses my nose. He looks up and his face hardens.
"You have five seconds to explain to me why you did that Ari." He says with an edge to his voice.
Ari remained silent and a low growl rumbled from Nathaniel's chest; his wolf getting protective over me. When Ari made no move to speak; he shifted and lunged. I let out a scream; Ari disappeared and the next thing I know my mouth was being covered.
"You have all the time in the world to learn and do what you want." I heard in my ear.
Everyone including Nathaniel was frozen in time.
I look on wide eyed at everything being frozen in time.
'Ari' I think; concentrating and hoping Ari heard me.
I heard a faint giggle.
'Nope! I'm not anyone you've met yet but who's always been there.'
'Female?' I think.
'Yes!'
I start thinking hard about who I know that's always been with me but never seen; not many female people or supernatural beings came to mind.
A huff of annoyance was heard.
'SERIOUSLY?! You don't know who I am?'
'No! Just tell me!' I yell in my mind.
'Here's a clue! Nathaniel mentioned me earlier! I'm hurt that you don't even remember me you bitch!' She yells.
'I'm sorry! I just have so much going on that I don't even know what to do! Please forgive me?' I plead with whoever I'm talking to.
Nothing.
Not one word.
'You're my wolf, aren't you?'
Still nothing.
A massive headache overtook and I fell down at the feeling and sounds of my bones popping and cracking; I scream.
Time started moving again while I thrashed around at the feeling of all my bones breaking and reshifting.
Nathaniel bit and slashed at thin air then turned around at my scream. His massive white wolf whimpered seeing me this way so he shifted back.
I felt fur sprouting everywhere and my head felt like it was going to explode.
"No!" I scream out trying to stop this whole process.
'Stop fighting me! You're making this worse than what it has to be!' I hear my wolf yell.
Nathaniel comes up to me and starts cooing sweet nothings to me and telling me to relax.
'Tell your wolf to come back! I want him!' My wolf whimpers out to Nathaniel.
"Hurry up and shift!" I yell out in excruciating pain.
'Careful what you wish for!' She snarled out.
***
After what felt like hours, I shifted completely into my wolf.
I'm gonna assume she's beautiful by the way Ari and Nathaniel keep looking at me.
She lets out a whine and pounces on Nathaniel licking at his face excitedly.
'Mate! Mate!' She purred out wagging her tail.
His eyes turned black and he too shifted into his wolf.
Either his wolf is actually massive or I'm just small.
'Hello, my little mate. Tell me your name?'
He says nose nudging us lightly and then biting at our neck.
'I have no name. I've been suppressed for most of my life by that leech we used to call a soulmate. He locked me away when I first came to. I remember his eyes and hair. It reminded me of fire on a cold night.' I heard my wolf say to him.
'Well, you seem to light on fire every time you're upset or angry. May I call you Enya? It means fire in Irish.' He says towering over me.
'Enya? I love it!' We say with pride.
"Hey! I'd like nothing more than for this cutesie moment to continue but we have more pressing matters!" Ari says snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"You need to shift back so we can bring Angel home." He says rudely.
I feel Enyas hackles raise and she growls lowly at him and I chuckle.
'Enya my love, he does make a point tho. I understand you've been suppressed most of your life but we need to get our daughter back safely. Please shift back.' Enya whines before nuzzling her snout into Nathaniel's wolfs neck.
'I promise, we will run under the moon and stars when this is done and over Enya' He coos softly.
Enya hums in response and slowly shifts us back.
I sit there naked and I try to cover myself as much as I can; Ari hands me his shirt, and I crinkle my nose at the smell of sweat but gratefully put it on.
"Enya is beautiful." Ari tells me while Nathaniel nods in agreement.
I'm kinda jealous that they have seen her but I couldn't. What does Enya look like?
I shake my head and tell myself I'll find out later while I feel her pouncing and zooming happily around.
"Let's go get Angel." I say determination in my voice.
"How are we gonna get there?" Nathaniel asks me.
I smile and remember back to when I seen Evangeline make that portal. She chanted to have it open; I won't have to.
I close my eyes; I just think about the portal etching and webbing in front of me, forming in front of all three of us.
I think of Angel and everything about her; most of all, I think about her location.
Nathaniel gasps out and I open my eyes.
It worked! The portal is right in front of me! I smile but I'm gonna have to celebrate later.
I turn to them and nod.
I walk through the portal and they follow behind.
I'm coming for you my child.

Fangs POV
Two and a half hours.
That's how long I've been waiting for Midnight to show up and in that time; those two brats worked together and now I have two children hiding somewhere within my house.
Evangeline woke up and wouldn't speak to me. She's got a bruise on her face from where I hit her.
"Your brat helped the other escape. Find them!" I snarl out.
She clenches her jaw and walks away from me.
I go to my room again; everything is still untouched from when she used to sleep in here. I can still smell her in here; the bedsheets carry a look of being slept in.
That child never would've been born had I just stayed in the room with her. I would've been the one to take her innocence and she have my kids but I left.
It's been years.
I think the worst feeling is knowing she left so many times after she was giving us a chance for real. This time, I blew it by not taking her and the child back home when we found her in the wolf tribe.
I should've grabbed Midnight and left the moment that flea bag said mate.
But no! She wanted to "try something" and protect me when in reality I'm sure she found her ticket away from me.
I walk to the bed and inhale at the sheets that smell like her and get hard.
My daily ritual since she left me high and dry that night.
Even tho I said her emotions was unstable and that I didn't want to take advantage; I had every intention on going back later that day and making love to her till she passed out.
I don't know how to properly show love; I never have.
I've always been an assassin and ruthless.
Yet...she was the only target I let live. I protected her and never let her out of my sight.
I especially loved when she was a kid; always running up to me and wanting me to hold her.
She always tested my patience and sanity but I was there. Next thing I knew some blue haired boy with black wings showed up and her attention went to him since they were only two years apart. They'd play together and everything. I could tell he loved her from the moment he saw her too; but I also saw he was protecting her like her literal life depended on it.
Two kids, only two years apart: one a half demon and the other a faerie werewolf.
Laughter from children interrupt my thoughts.
I storm out of the room and see Angel playing with the little boy; they turn around and gasp like they were caught doing something wrong.
"I'm sorry Fangie." Angel quivers out.
I stop in my tracks as I notice her eyes are fire orange.
What games is she trying to play with impersonating me and her mom?!
"Fangie I'm scared." She says while her lower lip puckers out just like Midnights.
She's just like her mom, every feature and all.
I go into a trance when she pushed it further and turned her eyes baby blue.
She ran up to me and wrapped her arms around my leg and smiled.
"Hiii!" She squealed looking up at me.
This isn't right. What the hell is going on?
"Mommy said to find you to play! Let's play Fangie!" She said giggling.
No.
This isn't Angel.
This is Midnight.
I smile and pick her up and Ari follows behind.

Angels POV
The boy helped me out of the high chair; he looks like Ari.
We ran and hid the furthest we could in these walls.
We flung a door open and closed it back; we cowered in the corner of the room together.
"I wanna go home." I cry out to the boy.
I start crying but the boy shushes me and points to the corner of the room we're in.
A circle forms and grows bigger and bigger.
Out comes mommy, Ari, and daddy.
I run to them and barrel into their arms.
"I wanna go home!" I sob out burying my face into mommy's chest.
She picks me up and holds me while I whimper and cry.
"Do you know where Fang is?" Mommy asks me looking around. I shake my head no and she don't press me any further.
"Who's the kid?" Daddy asks no one in particular.
"He helped me get out of the high chair so we could hide. He looks just like Ari." I whisper out to daddy.
"We're gonna get you out of here ok? So, just do everything we tell you to do ok?
***
Mommy told me and the boy what to do. She said I look just like her and that if I could use that to my advantage then we'd be able to restrain him.
I'm scared because he's mean and yelled at me.
But mommy and Ari gave me and the boy a memory as a way to act and talk and now I'm being picked up and being taken to a room full of toys.
He looks at me and I smile at him and wiggle a bit.
Mommy, daddy and Ari are waiting for me to break his guard down so we can detain Fang.
Who knew that my power of influence was stronger than his.
I continue to giggle and play my part.
