"Petalfin? Are you awake? I've been waiting for you to wake up for hours." Petalfin wakes up to the sound of Mida's voice. "Good, we need to figure out how to escape." Petalfin looks around, and sees her friends all chained up, all asleep. Mida starts rambling about, but Petalfin's too lost in her own thoughts to care. She had failed M33k9. The funny one. The corny one. The one who tried to help.
"Hello? HELLO?" Mida yells. Nothing. She sighs. "Is this about M33k9?"
"Yes." Petalfin answers, voice cracking.
"I wasn't your fault."
"What so it was Ina's?"
"No, Cadensa's."
"So what am I gonna do? Blame her until we win?"
Mida fell silent. Suddenly, Petalfin feels a sudden surge of strength go through her. She breaks free of her chains, as Mida gasps, wide-eyed, in awe. "Wow, got any more hidden gimmicks?" She asked. Petalfin smiles, then disappears.
Cadensa hears the chains breaking. She runs to the jail cell. She only sees Mida, with a smirk on her face. She angrily asks, "Where is she?"
Mida smugly answers, "You'll never stop her." Cadensa feels the anger in her. She strikes her across the dark room, and Mida slams into the wall and faints. Cadensa walks away, thinking of what to do.
Meanwhile, Petalfin opens her eyes to her home realm that she missed so much. Why am I here? What do I need to do? She asks herself. Still, the sight of her home comforts her. This comfort, combined with the fact that she was incredibly tired makes her fall asleep. And little did she know, she was trapped.
