Tom: do not worry about me for i am not leaving
nurse: sir, the CEO will not wake up until 8hours time, you really need to rest before accompanying him

Collins and his friend were playing football, they crack jokes and make fun of each other as they were playing. his phone was in his bag beside the field, the phone kept ringing but Collins could not hear, it rang and rang no one picked up; due to the fun his having, thirty minute interval he excuse himself to drink water then he heard his phone ringing, picks up the call before he could say hello the person on the other line shouted at him, where do you put your phone? have been calling you for ages so his uncle screamed at him come to the family hospital right away your parent had an accident. with the news all his energy drained at once, he suddenly became pale looking at the phone in his hand not knowing how to react or what to say to the person on the other end. he was jogged back to life with the shout from other end are you coming or you're there starring at the phone? Collins rub his face with his hand looking bag and left, dump all his things in the back seat and speed out on the highway, going to the hospital he did not obey the traffic rules driving without look at the other side of the road, he was about turning his car to the left not knowing that the traffic light has turn green for the upcoming vehicles the Jeep who was also in rush collided with his car, all the glasses were shattered, the front and the side was dent from the impart of accident he feels unconscious after been hit by the car, the accident caused a lot of hold up, people gathered around looking at the scene, some were feeling sorry for and the other were full of scornful words towards Collins who has lost consciousness. the ambulance shows up at the scene and rush the patients to the hospital, his uncle Lucas is at the front of the hospital wait to scold his nephew, when he sees the ambulance pulled in front of the hospital carrying somebody out of the vehicle. sighting the person on the stretcher all color was drain from his face, his shoulder was slump, feeling headache and his heart was in great pain as well.
Lucas is totally broken when he saw his nephew on the stretcher rushing to emergency room, a tear drop from his eyes murmuring to himself I called you to come but not to kill yourself, ( crying) I killed my nephew with my own mouth.

Collins pulse was dropping rapidly, the doctor and nurses were rushing to his room,all the doctors were trying to revive him back to life.

Collins is holding on to her mother's fingers trying to grab it well.
Collins..I don't want to leave you mama

both smiling, thorough happiness is clearly shown on their faces after promising each other.
The doctor were trying their best to resuscitate him back to life, the machine connected to his heart suddenly drops down to zero. the chief surgeon shakes his head and tell the head nurse to cover him up, he turns and walk out of the theatre. the head nurse and the others were arranging the equipment used when Collins sneezed under the cover, look towards the sound, head nurse quickly remove the cover over his head and runs after the chief surgeon who was about giving the news to the decease family, Doc, his alive he sneeze just now, before she could finished the chief race back to the theatre yo see the miracle that has happened. All his vitals are back and the machine is continually peeping that he is alive. the chief surgeon and the rest continue with the operation that lasted about 5hours. after the surgery he was shifted to the intensive care unit to see what be will happen. the news reach Lucas who was happy that his nephew was able to survive but lost his parents on the same day. Lucas walks into the ward, sat beside him and start talking with him even if he can't hear anything he says, his eyes was red as tears begin to roll down from his cheek, he walked out from the ward and collide with the doctor. he tries calming down facing the doctor and asked with a sorrowful voice, anything doctor? doctor looks at him with concern take a deep breath and said to him, let's go to my office there is something I want to discuss with you, Lucas followed the doctor with heavy heart. inside the doctor's office the doctor console him for his loss but Lucas is not settled with the doctor's attitude and shoot him a dagger with his look, don't beat around the bush, just tell me what happened to my nephew, the doctor was surprised on how Lucas was able to detect of his hesitation in delivering the message to him, the doctor sigh and then begin with the file being pass to him, you see after rigorous test we discovered that Collins lost his eyes in the accident. Lucas heart was once shattered into pieces all over again can his eyes be corrected he asked? yes, the doctor answered but he cannot undergo any surgery again for now, once his wound heal, you can get him the best optician to do that. Okay, I get it, after saying that Lucas gets up and walks out of the office.
