46th Day/4th month/21st year/3rd Cycle/Diamond era
Walking along a bustling city road misty observed the colourfull sights, carriages being drawn by multitudes of differently bizarre creatures. Driving such carriages were beings just as bizarrely divers, Some possessed Countless appendages others possessed anthropoid like bodies. Such was but a few, many more roamed the city streets each even more different than the other. Yet misty was not phased, she had seen even more bizarre sights countless times before.
Donning a black hooded cloak, bord of watching baldy's pitiful struggles she decided to explore this world.
Obtaining common information she discovered that the world was named Aliah and the three moons that accompanied it are called: Des which is the closest and largest of the three, the second Ves and Mera which is the smallest and brightest. She also noticed that this world is very young. in fact, she herself is much older.
Recollecting some minor details, she is in the city of Dom. One of the seven cities in the Zarth Republic. being the richest and most vibrant of the seven cities its importance is paramount to the existence of the republic. being the center of trade in the Southern region of the Argos continent it resulted in the Zarth republic becoming the most culturally diverse country on the planet. To the north of it resided the benevolent empire of man, To the east; the collective arthropod combine, to the west; the Evan kingdom, and cradled in the middle is the Frozen desert which is home to the ancient Frost dragon Coran. Yet the continent of which its size cannot be accurately quantified houses many powerful creatures that could rival the major powers of the continent. There also exists the empire of merfolk that resided within the crystal oceans to the east and the independent flying magic imperium that resides between the benevolent empire of man and the Frost desert.
Entering a tavern, Misty chose a desolate corner to sit.
Breathing out a heavy sigh misty sifted through her mind, recollecting all the information she had obtained about the world thus far. knowing that there had to be more to this world she started to devise a plan for her exploration of the world and the uncovering of all its secrets.
"good day customer, have you any requests," said a young man with scaly skin and slit eyes.
(Crunch) being interrupted during her moment of deep contemplation misty gritted her teeth in annoyance. Looking at the scale skinned boy with slit eyes misty replied in a calmingly southing monotone voice: "no....yes, in fact, I would like a cup of anguished tears preferably from a tortured pietist."
"umm?.. sorry dear customer. I'm afraid I know not of this anguished pietist tears drink....but we do have other selection of beverages."
"mmm...just bring me your most commonly ordered beverage." replied misty in an indifference tone that hid her displeasure.
Deep in thought, while waiting for her drink to arrive misty received a mental call, knowing who it was she did not reply.
(ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ri....(blocked))
(Crunch) gritting her teeth in annoyance misty blocked the baldy from her mental call list.
Calming down misty's eyes twitched, realizing that in her moment of irritation she had accidentally released her malevolent aura resulting in the deaths of everyone in the tavern.
"sigh" with a tired sigh misty swiftly ran to the back off the tavern escaping out the back door.
46th Day/4th month/21st year/3rd Cycle/Diamond era
As the sun began to set upon the city of Dom. Whispers of a gruesome massacre at the Slithering tavern could be heard.
"damn... these people weren't killed by any weapons or poison not even magic," said a grey-haired old man draped in a black trench coat adorned by a demand shaped badge with the engravings (Dom city law enforcement--detective Gibs)
"then what did kill these people," said a young man wearing light leather armor. his voice cracking with shock and disgust.
"look at their faces... it's obvious they died from fear" replied Gibs
"w...what in the world could cause such a thing?" asked the young man
".....what or who " replied Gibs
Closing the eyes of one of the fear-frozen corpses Gibs ordered: "get me a divining mage and bring anyone who claims to be a witness. Also, bring the owners and employees of the neighboring businesses."
"yes sir," in unison said the two dozen fully armored men scattered around the tavern.
Looking at the horrifying scene in front of him. Gibs took out what looked to be a snake's tale from his coat pocket. placing one end in his mouth Gibs snapped his fingers resulting in a flame burning at the tip of his finger. lighting one end of the so-called snakes tail he inhaled.
Releasing a miniature cloud of purple, blue and white colored smoke he sighed and said: "I'm getting too old for this shit."
