"Where have you been? I've searched you everywhere and called every single one of your friends"!
" I went to the library and didn't realize the time, I'll buy something for dinner okay. I have to go now, bye".

Elaine immediately turn off her conversation with her brother and rushed home. She walked on the pavement while murmured to herself.
" I should take caffeine before studying or I'll be sleepy again next time, but, at least I got a nice dream about having such a wonderful boyfriend... Uhh, he's precious ". Her movement stopped when she saw her great nemesis. "Edward"? she whispered. "I don't have time to confront him every single time he saw me, but, he'll start everything first". She started thinking her way out without being seen by Edward or at least another route, then her eyes catches on something_
"Nope! I ain't going into the park at night, it's way too dark and scary, not when Julie told me a lores about it". She thinks twice maybe more about it, but, she's out of any ideas for now. "I have to do this whether like it or not, I don't want to see his face again. Not after I broke his left wrist for taking pictures under my skirt and he probably pissed me so much. Well, served him right".
Elaine turned on light using her phone and walk through the park. She felt goosebumps from the beginning and started feeling cold. "It's freezing here". She started to remember Julie's story about this park every detail of it, before this park was built, there was a thick bushes and briars of roses here as same as an abandoned forest and there was a girl of 16 loved those roses and briars more than she loves herself and folks claimed that she disagrees when town council proceeded the demolition of the land to make a park out of it. They also claimed that she was a witch and decided to kill her. They captured her and tied her with those briars, screaming in pain, but no one help her. After that, they burn her in stake along with the briars and now, she was a vengeance spirit waiting for someone who can replace her to finish her job. Then_!
CRACK!!!
Elaine heard a noise of cracking twigs, but, still freaked her out. "What was that"!?
"Are you the one"?
She heard an eerie voice asking her for something behind the bushes. "Who is that"?! she screamed in fright. She decided to go back to the pavement walk by running, but, she felt a pain on both of her legs. " Ouch! my legs, it hurts a lot". She looked at her legs and both was bond with the briars. It thorns pierced through her flesh, her blood pouring out through the wounds. She stumbled and her hands suddenly wrapped by the briars. Elaine wanted to scream as loud as she can, but she couldn't as it something told her mind not to do so.
SCREECHH!! SCREEECHHH!!
Her eyes caught on something moving inside the bushes. Then, there's a young girl came out of it and kept asking Elaine_ " Are you the one"?
Elaine was completely lost and her thoughts of screaming for help was back, but, she couldn't do it as that girl grab Elaine's mouth and open it widely. Elaine couldn't resist it, but, have to deal with it. She felt thousands of slices through her stomach to bladder and along the throat. Her eyes was wide open like she's battling her own death. Elaine was unconscious after that until the sun rises and flashes of it warms unconscious Elaine on the ground. "Do it for me now".
She woke up suddenly and this time she's on her bed at her house. She breathed very hard and fast and tears falling down her cheeks.
"Elaine! Are you okay? What happened last night"? asked Ryan.
Elaine hugged her brother and crying very hard as she could still felt pain at her legs, stomach, throat and bladder, but, there isn't any wounds or scars at her legs. Ryan hugged her back and calmed her.
"How did i get here"? asked Elaine in puzzled.
" Mrs Jones from next door saw you this morning lying on the ground at park when she took her dog for a walk". Answered her brother.
Elaine sighed with relief and laid on her bed. Ryan went downstairs to get a breakfast for his sister. She memorized every detail about last night even her dream of someone asking her to do something.
"Do it for me now".
